I have owned this popper since April 2012. I wanted a little time under it's belt before posting a review since it is a larger purchase and I wanted to give an accurate review.So, 7 months of making popcorn several times a week and let me tell you, this popper is the bomb. It makes amazing popcorn every time. I buy the pre-measured kits and the popcorn tastes just like the movie theater popcorn.I have experimented with many different methods to get the most popped kernals. For this popper, I turn on the kettle first for 5 minutes. Then I add the kit all at once plus a couple of tablespoons of extra popping oil to the kettle and turn on the stirrer. If I heat the oil with the kettle, it gets so hot that it shoots unpopped kernals from the kettle along with the popped ones.This is an amazing popper. You won't be dissappointed.

I bought this 4 years ago. It is still going strong and is pretty much in brand-new condition. I've never had an issue with it and it makes delicious popcorn for the family. We set it up next to the big screen projector and we feel like we're in the theater. The kids love it. Great affordable price for something that makes so many memories.

This was a great purchase! It is worth the price. I was afraid it would be smaller than expected but it was perfect and a family favorite for movie night! It’s a huge hit for all the kids when we have family get together. It’s easy to put together and easy to use and clean. Very easy to move around if needed as well. It’s not cheap and made of plastic at all.

Very sturdy and easy to use! Built 100 times better than the Nostalgia brand which was flimsy and didn't work correctly from the get go.. We decided to return the Nostalgia popcorn maker to Wal-Mart and purchased the Funtime from Amazon.. Believe me, the price difference is worth it. This is a product that is quality and makes great tasting popcorn every time!

Kettle didn't work. When we finally got replacement kettle, stirring shaft bent. Cannibalized original defective to make fully functional kettle.

The cart was easy to put together. When the box arrives, you may need help getting it into the house. Weighs about 73 lbs.Wheels are well made and sturdy. Popcorn popper unit is very easy to clean. Works as I expected. Great deal, great price. The light bulb was the only thing damaged in shipment. I hope it holds up well over time and usage.

I purchased this popper for my daughter and her family to add to their movie theater room. It was an instant sensation. The boys love to pop corn to serve to their friends.It looks like an old time popcorn cart, so it looks good. The popcorn comes out just right with that buttery taste we love at the theater.

The machine has been great. We really like it and the popcorn too. But recently we broke one of the doors - they are pretty flimsy plexiglass. I've been trying to order a replacement for the broken door, but contacting the seller is almost impossible. I emailed and called. Did get an answering email with a different number to call, and that's a prerecorded message with a list of numbers to press and then simply says all operators are busy and they stay busy for a very long time. When I finally got a live person, I was told they'd call me back, that the ones who fulfill parts orders were busy! But I pressed the number for "support!" then they say try an extension, but the phone system never allows input of an extension number! Weeks of trying to new doors order and nothing but daily run-arounds and promises of calling back. Phone tag hell is what it is. I'd go with a different company for a popcorn machine if you think might need customer support sometime.
