It last more than 3 weeks.

I was away for one day less day than feeder was advertised to cover. When I got back, the fish looked good and the tank was not covered with a cloudy mess, like some other vacation feeders I have used in the past.

We use these when we travel and the fish are always alive and well upon return. Doesn’t cloud the water and lasts the full amount of days.

Purchased for family goldfish over spring break and he’s still alive. #win.

Not sure why but these and an aqueon brand feeder are the only ones on the market right now. I used to use a different brand but can’t find them anywhere. I travel for work and have two tanks that I have to keep fed while I’m gone. I’ve bought various mechanic feeders but haven’t found one reliable and that works consistently. These feeders don’t seem to have a lot of food in them and the residue really gunks up my filters. I’ve gotten to the point where if it’s a short trip - a night or two- I don’t leave these in my tanks. I’ll continue to look for a different solution.

I bought this for my betta fish at college because I didn't want to take him on a 4 hour car ride for a break that was only a week. Even though this is meant for a bigger tank, I figured it would work out okay if I cut it in half. When I came back, my fish had turned white and was floating on its side, even though it was still alive. I immediately changed its water and made sure the tank was clean and luckily he resurrected. Warning: Don't buy this for a smaller tank (mine is 3.5 gallons) even if you plan on cutting it in half.

Came home to healthy fish. It lasted way longer than needed which is good to know…

Bought for while we were away on vacation. Came back after almost 2 weeks and everyone was still swimming!
