Not symmetrical.
The yoke I was sent is not symmetrical. The sturdiness of the material and finish were all good, but because I needed the whole 38" for my Osprey, I could not cut it down and make it centered. When I put the canoe on my shoulders, it was noticeable and uncomfortable to carry even a short distance. The center of gravity is off to one side. It is functional, but I am not super happy.
