Evans Drum Heads - G2 Clear Tom Drumhead, 14 Inch

The new Evans G2 clear 360 outshine all in my opinion, even the old G2 clear. No flat punches or cheap overtones, just warm, full tonality. The harder you play, the more they sing. If you mix them for a live gig you will find other drummers asking you how you got them tuned and sounding so perfect. In fact, I still find myself playing fills and ignoring cymbals just because it's so fun to play the drums lol. Mine is a 7 piece PDP Concept Maple. With the F.A.S.T. sizing and the 360 heads it's near dummy proof for professional sound. I put Genera resonant heads on the flip. Tune the reso first!!! One word of advice for Amazon shoppers. Send a message to the seller and DOUBLE VERIFY that you're getting a 360 model and not the old G2. I ordered 12 heads for the set below and one seller sent me an older model 14 inch batter even though the website said it was clearly a 360. Now the stupid 14 inch tom batter sounds like crap and gets my OCD acting up. Honest mistake on the sellers part but still irritating. Sometimes sellers just google and hit copy/paste for descriptions. Do your homework.

I bought a kit the other day and it came with these heads on it. I had never used the Level 360s before (always been a Evans Coated guy). Well damn....these things blow all the others heads out the water! I loved the heads so much that I bought them for my second kit as well. I even had some life left on my old heads, but I loved the sound and feel of these too much to wait! Excellent response and attack! It may be my imagination, but these seemed to tune very quickly unlike some of the other heads I have used in the past. Buy these. You can't beat the price and they make your kit sound fab.

Great sound and looks awesome. Put this on a steel Tama snare drum and it has worked out great. Highly recommend.

Item arrived exactly as described. These came highly recommended by a good friend in a band for our intermediate 11 year old drummer based upon quality sound for a small drum set. Haven't installed yet, waiting for drum key to come in. We ordered these, last minute, with 4 other drum heads--but only one package of the 5 were due in on time for Christmas at the Point of Sale screen. Amazon pushed them all to the same shipping order, and lo' and behold-- Christmas eve-- all 5 items arrived via Santa's helpers at Fedex!
