Does what it needs to do
So I used this calibrate my refractometer for my reef tank. turn out i was a bit high and had to adjust the calibration screw to get the correct reading. 5 stars from me for ease of use and price.

Great for calibrating refractometers and digital salimeters.
Bottle was full to top which was nice. This will last me at least a year.

Salinity is WRONG
We used this to calibrate our refractometer . We did a water change and noticed things not doing good.😡 We tested a friends water that has beautiful coral and fish our meter was showing 1.030 in his water. So we used BRIGHTWELL refractometer calibration standard and it was also reading high at 1.031.Used a Hannah salinity meter to test this reagents brand refractometer calibration standard and it's showing its lower. So if i loose coral due to this supposed calibration standard i need to know who do i talk to about the reimbursement....BEFORE YOU SELL SOMETHING TO PEOPLE FOR A SALINITY METER YOU BETTER MAKE SURE IT'S RIGHT. 🤬THIS GARBAGE MADE ME PUT MY 🤬SPS CORAL IN HYPER SALINITY.....THOSE of you who thinks this is a great product.Test someone's water other then your own. If it's the batch i got well shame on them cause there quality control must SUCK terribly.

Works as intended
Used this for my refractometer that keeps going out of calibration. Would buy again.

update. LFS SG was off. not as bad as i thought.
tested with another solution as well. both are around 1.026.

Must have for a reef tank
Don’t second guess your salinity and risk not knowing!

Accurate
I hadn't calibrated my refractometer in a while. I purchased this to check the calibration. Interestingly enough after 10 years my refractometer is still calibrated. Either that or the calibration is off the same amount as the calibration fluid which is unlikely.
