NICKS Go Nuts, Seed & nut bar with Milk Chocolate, no Added Sugar, Gluten Free (12x30g)

These bars are lovely, the only complaint I would say is that they are too small

These were a pleasant surprise. I had thought they would be small bars of chocolate with some nuts in. However, they are more like those snack bars you might have in between meals. They are made of mixed nuts such as whole almonds but lie on a thin (but not too thin) chocolate base.

7 carbs and pretty good. I don't have to rely only on dense, chewy protein bars for my sweet tooth. Problem is I want to eat 2 or 3 at a time as they are really nice.

Update on box of dark chocolate with expiry date 7/2020. Nicks need to seriously look at their shelf lives. This is the second box of Nicks I've had in last few weeks that have been stale and both had July expiry. I had a very mixed box of sports bars (chocolate) that around half tasted stale and the wafer soft. I've had lots of Nick's bars so I know how they taste normally! Today I've opened a box of dark nut bars and omg what a difference to the milk one's I've previously had. Chocolate is discoloured on base which isn't a huge issue if the nuts didn't taste stale. I eat a lot of nuts so I know the difference with stale nuts. I recently had to bin 2 bags of Macadamia because I hadn't bothered checking the dates when I bought them. I love Macadamia nuts but omg they taste bad when they are past their best! These bars also taste stale, not pleasant at all. It was a chore to finish it. Very disappointed because I love Nick's bars but after spending over £40 this month on 2 stale tasting boxes I won't buy any more. I don't mind the price if the quality is there but they are too expensive for bad tasting treats. A product shouldn't be tasting stale with 4 months left on the date. I've only dropped the rating to 3 because when they have decent use by dates they are great. If I wasn't taking that into account I wouldn't give this box 1 star.Love these, will be ordering for regular use as I think they are great value and easily fit my keto diet. I love they are mostly nuts/seeds and usually I'd have bought the dark chocolate but saw the reviews about them having bad taste. Most reviews for Nick's seem pretty spot on with my own views so I wasn't risking it! I much prefer the dark chocolate over their milk normally but so do the reviewers that don't like the dark in this so thought it was best to be safe. I think it was the right choice as they are lovely and I even like these more than the sports wafers so I will be ordering more so I have a 'to go' meal in my bag to tide me over when I'm out. I like the chewy texture to as it lasts longer and feels more satisfying. So grateful to companies who produce products like these. It's also great to know that should hubby pinch one it won't effect his blood sugars. Although I do intend to hide these ones well!

I didn’t like the flavour or texture of this .. too sweet and the artificial sweetener flavour dominates and so soft not crunchy and all in all I wouldn’t buy this one again. Unfortunately it’s a whole box and therefore another expensive mistake

... schädlichen Industriezucker. Ist jetzt mein neuer Lieblingsriegel!Nüsse tun dem Körper sowieso sehr gut, und mit 130 Kalorien je Riegel ist das auch für die Figur keine allzu große Sünde. Und dass KEIN Weizen und somit auch kein Gluten enthalten sind, macht das alles noch doppelt so gesund...Werde uns jetzt auch einmal die mit der Dunklen Schokki bestellen. Sind sicher auch sehr schmackhaft, wie alles was ich von Nick's bisher gekauft habe.

Pas mal. C'est pas ma préférée dans la gamme ( je préfère largement peanut and fudge ou coconut) mais ça reste très correct en termes de goût.La barre est bien nutritive avec un effet limité sur la glycémieBien pour un régime low carb
