75096 Max-Frame Class III 2" Square Receiver Hitch

This does NOT fit a 1993 Ford Explorer. The hitch mount points are too narrow and doesn’t reach the frame.

I just now got around to installing this hitch, and it was a easy install. Did it alone, no drilling needed for my 1995 Ford Explorer 4X4. You must drop the spare tire in order to install it, and it fits back in place with no problem. The instructions are lacking some detail, but after reading them three or four times, I figured out what they were saying. :-)

Not right hitch for 2002 Ford exploer 4dr had to heat it bend it to be able to weld it in place 1/2 in off to narrow make sure to measure the fame and hitch would of returned but I had to have some thing I tore off plastic bumper to install after taking off the old one

I recently moved and this piece kept up the entire time I was moving everything. I've hauled all of my things back and fourth for hundreds of miles and it hasn't budged

Did not come with mounting hardware so I just sent it back you can't just go to home depot and get bolts to mount this the botts have to be engineered for your hitch so it should of come with the right mounting hardware it's foolish to install without the right stuff!

It came bent. There is nothing in the box with it so one of the arms got bent out of place. After getting it back to place it did work nicely. Other than it arriving bent it I do recommend it.

This is a great hitch, much higher weight rating. No major job to install if you take spare tire out first, (it will fit back in when finished). It took about 2.5 hours to install as I had to cut out an old hitch, Back frame mounts allow for a much stronger installation. An electric grinder and saws all is very helpful if you have to remove old hitch.

All the parts where included and no drilling

Installed on my explorer in no time .
