There’s not a whole lot that could’ve happened with this one. It does exactly what I want it to do. The compass works better than I thought so bonus. I needed something for the temp while we’re out camping and we don’t have service for the phone. Wasn’t expecting the compass to really work but it does. It’s a bonus as I said. I like the breakdown of the temp and wind chill. So I don’t really have any complaints about it. Cheap price but very well made product.

I put mine on my keychain. This helps orient me when GPS is not available.

Compass never points north. No matter how much I shake it or any other means of trying to reset it it sill points northwest. Thermometer works.

This works as advertised and is accurate. However, it takes almost 10 minutes to adjust to the temperature when I go outside. But, I guess I should not complain because a digital thermometer would cost a lot more.The compass works fine, but I really only purchased this for the thermometer.

Reasonably accurate and affordable. I got a few of these last year for stocking stuffers and one for myself on a coat zipper.

I purchased this item to attach to the zipper on my jacket. When I got it and removed it from the packaging card I found that the back is not enclosed with plastic. It is really a cheap piece of junk.The cardboard card that shows the temperature and has the wind chill information on the back is exposed. It is only held in place by a little plastic edge of the front plastic piece.I expected the card to be contained inside with plastic on the front AND the back so it would be waterproof. Instead there is no back. If you attach the item to a jacket or other zipper (on a pack for instance) and wear it out in the rain or snow the cardboard will get wet and be damaged.I think just wearing it on a zipper with the cardboard exposed and using it as a zipper pull is going to cause damage because the cardboard is only held in place by four little ridges on the edge of the plastic on the front.I won't know how it holds up because I plan to return it as soon as I can.

Very much like the first one I had attached on the zipper pull of a North Face parka I wore on my first tour in Germany in the early '80s. Also in Upstate, NY then back to Germany. Very handy little device to have and weighs nothing. Couldn't wear one on my uniform but kept one in the pressure bandage pouch on my LBE as well as on my pistol belt on MP duty.

Perfect for my tool belt at work... When the fall sets in it will be ok my jacket! With the crazy temperature changes it's awesome to see the exact temp.. and since I work outdoors I can tell which direction the storms are coming from... Great little item!!
