Sundown Calcium 1200 mg plus Vitamin D3 for Immune Support, Supports Strong Teeth and Bones, 60 Softgels

My doctor insisted I start taking this exact measurement of calcium and vitamin D a few months back because I have lost some bone density. I paid a considerable amount the first few months getting what I needed at various pharmacies or Walmart. But I found this brand at the dollar store and was thrilled not to have to buy two separate supplements and at a great price. So when I found them in a larger quantity on Amazon and at an even better price I grabbed them right away. Just what I needed!! Hopefully later this year my test results will be much improved from last year. I’ll update my review after my follow up test.

I've tried many calcium supplements and they are always such huge pills! I guess that must be the only option when it comes to calcium. These are also very big, BUT... they really are not too difficult to swallow. They are a soft, gel-like pill that goes down easy. I also like that they have the necessary vitamin D needed to process the calcium. I'm sure I'll be buying these again.

Finally one pill that is easy to swallow. 1800 MG in one gulp. The soft covering allows quick absorption and easy slide down the throat. I use a big gulp of a thicker liquid than water and don’t even know it’s there. A milk shake or smoothie is best.

Good health value for the money. If you can swallow without problems, these would probably work for you,,,,,However, if you are like me and have problems swallowing, you won't be able to use these. I am sure the product is a sufficient amount of vitamin D3, but they are really big and hard to swallow. That being said, if you can swallow easily, Sundown is a good vitamin, and you get your 1 day suggested amount per day in just one pill.

Large capsules but easy to swallow

I have to take calcium for my birth control and this is the amount I was told to take. Every time my calcium levels are checked they are great so this pill is doing its job. The pill is on the big side but it is very hard to find a small calcium pill at this level of medicine.

I didn't realize it has a high dose of d3. I take d3 separately. The capsules are big but the slick finish makes it easier to swallow. Also, thistype of calcium needs to be taken with food. I'd buy it again but only if it has less d3.

No issues. Wife uses it.
