Melissa & Doug Sunny Patch Verdie Chameleon Watering Can

This watering can is not only cute, but it is practicle. I bought the Melissa and Doug watering can with flowers twice and it broke both times within a week (I have girls that are pretty gentle on things, but one drop and the flower watering breaks). This is made out of slightly different material but it is what makes it way more durable. And it is really, really adorable.

I really loved this watering can! The quality is quite high, there are no leaks, like on other watering can I recently got (the bee by melissa&doug also). I was going to give it as a present to my nephew but now I consider getting one for my kid as well! Maybe Verdie can teach kids that flowers can actually be watered, not only picked and tromped on :)

This watering can from Melissa and Doug is adorable. I love that it's a happy chameleon versus a butterfly or other over-done critter. Pretty heavy construction, it feels very solid. It also is pretty substantial in size and holds a fair amount of water. The hole in the top to fill is not very large, so our larger hose attachment doesn't fit, which may be a little frustrating for kids trying to fill on their own. Overall, very cute and functional for little hands to help with the garden.

I got this bc my little one likes to water plants. This is a fun and cute container that makes it easy for him. He runs around yelling plants plants!! water, water!! This is an easy no spill container that I feel comfortable letting him carry outside at 21 months of age.

Kiddos love to water plants-- its all about copying the grown-up, playing with water, and being independent. We've tried a few different watering cans, but they are usually way to heavy for little ones and not sized for kiddo hands. This Melissa & Doug Watering Can is a HIT! It is bright and colorful, sized PERFECTLY for young children, and holds enough water to be fun without getting too heavy. Its super durable, made of very strong plastic, and high quality. Can't recommend this enough-- perfect for spring and summer in the garden with children.

Doesn’t hold a lot of water. That’s inconvenient, but it’s cute and lightweight. If you’re just watering a few small plants around the house this would do the trick.

My 3 year old picked this out because it's so cute. But cute isn't everything! Does not hold much water and won't stand up with water in it. The balance is all off. She also has a hard time pouring it bc of where the handles are located.

Super hübsch und niedlich! Toll verarbeitet, präzise angemalt - ein Blickfang auf der Fensterbank! ABER passt wirklich nciht soviel Wasser rein und ganz voll kann man sie auch nciht machen, weil es schweppert. naja - ich gieße weiter mit der Wasserflasche und freue mich über das hübsche Tierchen auf dem Fensterbrett... ;)

My grandson loved it. Many hours of happy watering. Very good quality as always from Melissa and doug. Would recommend it.
