Just Like the Movie
A Tale of Two Sisters is a great version of the movie Frozen - perfect for beginning readers. It hits all the major plot points in simple language. The illustrations are lovely - very colorful - and all your favorite characters are featured. My daughter was delighted to see Marshmallow, the Ice Monster, as there is no Frozen merchandise that seems to feature him at all. While the movie had a few points that scared my daughter a bit (some of the chase scenes!), the book leaves out the scary bits, while still telling a complete story. After finishing this on the Kindle, my daughter told me she felt like she had seen the movie again and she wanted to read the book twice more that night.A new favorite!

Let It Go
Almost everyone who has children knows about the film , 'Frozen'. The song, 'Let It Go', is sung everyday, millions of times. Now, there is a book for new readers. My granddaughter is 5, and loves Elsa and Anna. She never tires of hearing the story, and she wanted to read this book. She can't read by herself, but we looked at the pictures and the words. This will be a wonderful book for beginners. The story is very simple, two sisters living in a castle. Elsa, the older sister has special powers and she turned her sister into a cold statue. Her parents were able to undo that situation. But, Elsa was not allowed to play with Anna again. Elsa left home and went to live in an ice castle. Anna and her friends went to get her, and convinced her to come home. A prince who said he loved Anna, was not a good prince, and he as found out and was put on his way. Elsa and Anna had a dance in their big ballroom, and all was right with the world. This was such a nice story. The illustrations were bright and vivid and depicted the adventures of Elsa and Anna. Parents/teachers will enjoy reading this story to their children. A nice story with a good outcome.Recommended. prisrob 11-23-14

Frozen fractals all around
This review is for the e-book. My 7 year old wanted this as she is a big Frozen fan and she was well above the reading level (she is 2nd grade) so she had no problems going through it. It follows the movie which makes it easy for kids familiar with it to get into. The pictures are good, again pretty much straight out of the movie which is good for fans, as they are quality. It is a pretty basic book with simplified vocabulary. Most kindergarten to 1st grade readers should have few problems reading it. Nothing too mind blowing, any kid that enjoyed the movie will more than likely enjoy reading this as well.

Frozen 1 storyline
This is just the Frozen 1 storyline. Nice drawings although they repeat in other Frozen 1 Step Into Reading books like Big Snowman, Little Snowman. No stickers or activities at the end.

Good Frozen Early Reader Book
This is an early reader version of the movie Frozen. The font is quite large to help letter identification for early readers and the sentences are very simple: "They meet Olaf. He is a nice snowman."My 3.5-year-old daughter loves the movie Frozen and enjoys this book as well, despite the simple sentences. She is not reading yet, but is able to identify letters and this book is something we use to practice that skill. The one downside is that it doesn't seem to be put together very well. After about a week of constantly looking at it the pages started falling out and the cover separated from the spine. It has been taped back together, but for something that is clearly targeted at a younger audience should be reinforced a little more.

A quick little read when your kids want a "Frozen"-themed story
You know how you get sick of reading "Frozen" themed stories all the time? You know how you inwardly groan when you see how much text is left on a page before you can turn it? This little book is AWESOME!First off, the whole chronological story is here, not just a portion, so there is a beginning and the end. If you're reading it to your kid(s) they feel like they covered everything.Secondly, I bought this for my 6 year old daughter to practice her reading. It's simple enough that she can get through it with some help, but mainly by herself. Meanwhile, my 2 year old son wants to read it again and again, and here is why I don't mind. It's so short and simple I can get through it relatively quickly. It has good sentences like this: "They meet Olaf. He is a snowman." -- and then you're on the next page. Nice!

Perfect first reader
My four year old has just learned how to read on her own. This book, even though it is rated a step 2, is the perfect level for her. And she is currently in love with all things Elsa. The story is the same as the movie, which she saw in the theater but probably didn't get the entire plot. She now understands more and will read this out loud to anyone who will hear it. It is so cute (feel my pride ha ha)What a great buy! The easter bunny put this in her basket, what a clever guy.

Lovely little book
My 3 year old daughter loves this book and, although it is a bit advanced for her age, she pretends to read it to herself after i have read it to her. Hopefully she will soon come to recognise the words and begin the first step to reading.
