Red Dingo Designer Cat Collar, One Size Fits All, Snake Eyes Orange

I normally get themed/fashion collars for my cat, but he kinda hates them lol. So I got this to help give him a break from bows and other attached accessories, lol. The orange collar complements his grey tabby fur PERFECTLY. I have no issues with the logo as it isn't really tacky or attention seeking. It's just a little black tag with plain white text. As far a breakaway clasps go, this is very secure. It never falls off by accident. However, he quickly figured out he could get it off, and it's taking some time putting it back on him again and again to get him used to the fact he has to wear it regardless lol. He seems to be acclimating well and not as bothered by it as collars with bows, charms, etc. Appears to be built to last, but only time will tell on that. I am quite impressed by its quality, though. It also has a lot more potential neck room than other collars. He normally is right on the edge of being too big for any cat collar, but this fits him perfectly with plenty of room to grow (he's one year old).

these collars are the BEST. very good quality and the thicker embroidery is not only visually appealing but it keeps the collar from sliding out of adjustment. my two boys rough house a lot and with other thinner collars there is a problem with them getting pulled too tight or too loose or pulled off altogether this is not happening with these at all, once adjusted they stay in place and while they do have a quick release fastener am not finding them on the floor... did I mention that they are really pretty too....

This collar is the perfect one for our silly orange lady, Cheeto. We wanted an orange collar since it looks so good on her and this one is the cutest. She is darling in it and she loves to run around and make her bell jingle.

My cat turned this into a fuzzy orange wad from scratching at it. There's no easy way to remove it once on, no tabs to push to release etc. Yet pops apart with too much tugging (safety feature I guess)

This Red Dingo collar is probably the fifth or sixth one I've bought over time. (We've had cats for many years and currently have five.) They are extremely well-made, and strong. The material is high-quality, lasts a long time and doesn't fray easily. There is also a good range of attractive colors and patterns to choose from. Perhaps most importantly for cats, the clasp is strong and in normal circumstances stays closed, but is still able to "break-away" should the cat get its head and the collar caught somewhere and need to yank its head out of the collar. I know from long experience that these collars are far better than many other collars that cost a lot more.

This is my second Red Dingo cat collar. I bought this one for my inside cat, just in case. I tried the original one over other cat collars because I've purchased Red Dingo tags for my dogs, and they are superior to other tags. I hoped these cat collars would be of a similar quality. They do not disappoint. Especially around the $5.00 price point. The first cat has been wearing his collar for about 6 months, and there is still no fraying. It has stayed adjusted to the original fitting. It's very visible, and the soft tinkling bell alerts the birds to his presence. Great collar at a great price!

I bought two of these, one for each kitty. They are very cute, with nice colors. They stay connected, which is nice. However, they do fray very easily. My kitties' collars looked worn and old after only a couple of weeks of use. My main issue with these is that the mechanism that allows you to shorten, or lengthen, is too loose. On multiple occasions I found that my cats were nearly being choked to death because the collars tighten dangerously around their throats due to collar slipping through that size adjuster. Because of this I discontinued use, and ended up buying different collars all together. It's too bad because they do stay latched well, and are very cute with reflective detailing on them, but I just don't want anything to happen to my cats when I'm not around to observe whether or not they are being slowly choked to death when the collar tightens.

This is a high quality collar that looks great and is well made. I had previously purchased a Red Dingo with a slightly different design. Of course, my cat managed to loose it. These collars are strong and won't easily fray or come apart. They are breakaway collars. So if your cat gets it caught on something, that little plastic clip will come open and keep your cat from choking. But it is strong enough that it won't fall off on accident. My cat has kept it on for a month so far. That's pretty much a record for him.

This collar may be a bit confusing when first received, as it does not open as a normal collar. It simply pulls apart. There are little "wings" that stick out as a normal plastic fastner, but don't be fooled, they do nothing but hurt your fingers from trying to push them in...give the collar a firm pull apart at the fastner and the collar comes apart. I was worried that it would not fasten back snugly and after a bit of time, become loose. So far, (6 months later and after many removals) the clasp is still snapping together snugly and firmly. This is a great collar, especally for an animal that is home alone, as there is no chance of their collar getting hung up on something and hanging the poor baby. This one breaks-away and the animal is free. It is NOT and SHOULD NEVER be used with a leash, as the animal can pull hard, the collar releases and you animal is free. I would highly recommend this item for any animal being left alone wearing a collar. (we bought this for our little one to wear with her ID tag that has her name, our name and phone number on it should she run out of the apartment without us...as she has done in the past...she's very quick)

El collar es muy lindo y perfecto para gatos una vez que le haz quitado el cascabel, mi gatito lo ha usado ya por 1 mes y está bastante feliz con él. Tomó un tiempo que se adaptara a usarlo, al principio lo mordía constantenente e intentaba quitarselo pero el collar resistió sin problema. IMPORTANTE no es para gatitos pequeños por el tamaño del producto. A pesar de ser ajustable el tamaño más pequeño posible le quedaba grande a mi gato en un inicio y mi gato ya tenía 6 meses de edad cuando le coloqué el collar. Desde entonces el gato creció y el collar le ajustó perfecto por eso lo recomendaría para gatos adultos.
