Perfect for small hands
Great gift. Nephew loves them. These are perfect for small hands or anyone that has an issue with those other famous "blocks" that are on the market. Granted the design is different but that is what makes them so great.

Really Cool, but Hard
This ended up being cool at the end, but it was hard. My son has been able to do the smaller tubes independently (ninjas, robot, axolotl, etc.). He needed help with this... I almost needed help with this.I wanted to leave you a few tips if you are trying to build this. First, step 7 should be x4 instead of x2. The arrows on the rest of the directions show you to attach things, but the ones in steps 6 and 7 are to show you the next step. It's kind of like they put two steps in one if that makes sense. After step 7 when you put the sides on the ones with the glow pieces really go on at an angle while the ones without don't attach well. This is the hardest part since it's not stable all the sides are on. It's also sometimes hard to see what they want you to do with the black pieces, so looking ahead in the directions helps. Otherwise, happy building!

One word - Confusing, another frustrating. Not for parents or younger kids.
My son loves legos. I wanted to try an alternative and I bought a few of these. These are annoying to build and with the shuttle I almost tossed it against the wall and wanted to throw it away. The instructions are difficult to understand. Sometimes the pictures are not clear enough and you can't figure out what you're supposed to do. It really makes you appreciate Lego. Worst of all, if you have a kid, they'll probably break it within a few minutes. Legos kind of stick together. These bend and can fall apart right away. Be warned... that said, the product itself is okay for older kids/teens probably...
