Belly Bandit Original Postpartum Adjustable Belly Wrap

This worked great! I will be ordering again, if I get pregnant again. I wish I ordered in a smaller size. I was going back and forth between a medium and a small. I got a medium. I'm 5'5 and weighed 160 at the end of my pregnancy. The band was too big after a week postpartum and I switched to the Bellefit gurdle. The product is well made and as described.

This is a must have for postpartum belly support. Wow! This was my fourth baby and first time using one of these. I really noticed it a difference when I took it off. My back and belly felt wobbly and unsupported. My stomach shrunk down MUCH faster than it did with my 3rd babe. Cons? I live in the desert and it's way hot. Now that it is in the 90s, I can't hardly stand to wear it. Luckily, I am not needing it much longer. Fabric is not so comfy - I don't know what it's made out of but I think next to bare skin it would feel scratchy? My friend let me borrow her bamboo belly bandit and it felt so much more comfy. If I did this again, I would fork out the extra $ and get the bamboo. But it is a good product.

Most of the advertisements for this product emphasize how small and beautiful you'll feel/look after/while wearing this product. The truth is, after having a baby, you're likely going to need the support. My ab muscles, after labor/delivery, were so worn out that I couldn't stand up straight after delivery. It took me a day or so to get around to pulling this out of the box because I was sitting/laying down most of my early week+ of recovery. *However* Once I put this thing on, I could finally stand up straight! I had the support I needed for walking around, and that was such a relief! I do think it helped my abs heal "back" where they needed to be. If you're curvy, like me, it's gonna bunch up in the back. I managed to get mine to fold over into one big fold, and that made it okay. Most of my friends who have tried it have had the same problem. Also, most of my friends and I needed more than one size. I needed the original size the first week (or so) and then after that I needed a smaller size. Some friends have had success sewing additional velcro to it to extend the usability of the first one. Others (like me) just bought a second size... 'cause it was easier (who wants to pull out the sewing machine when you're baby is 2wks old?)

Too expensive for the product. I ordered the small based on the website recommendation. Pre-pregnancy I was about 130lbs before giving birth I was about 160lbs. The website had recommended I order a small. After giving birth the small did not fit me. I had to use another belt for about 2 weeks before the Belly Bandit fit me. It provides good compression and back support but after wearing it for about 3-4 weeks it got very creased and now the creases dig into my skin and are super uncomfortable especially if I am sitting down. I would say the money is too much for a product that will become uncomfortable in a few weeks due to the creasing. I dont see any way to avoid the creasing either. I would recommend spending your money on a different product.

Edit: I contacted the company itself and they are great with customer service. I now have the BFF wrap and it’s much better. If you have a shorter torso or are just shorter in general I recommend getting that one over this one. But the company is great. I really liked the idea of this belly band but really disappointed in the actual product. I ordered the size according to the sizing chart and i could barely get it pulled together soon after delivery. I waited a few days and still really difficult to Velcro because it seems too small, but the measurements said to get smaller so that there’d be room to go down. But it’s not comfortable as it rides up off my lower abdomen constantly and I have to pull it down. It bunches too much to be able to wear it out in public under my clothes. It’s not very helpful for an hourglass shaped body. Unfortunately I’ve tried to wear it for a month now so I don’t think I can return it but I’m really disappointed.

I have diastasis recti and this helps me feel more stable and put together when I'm working out. However it is super hard to put on myself and would be better if there were two separate pieces that came across. It gets bunched easily when I try to Velcro it myself but it is fine if my husband helps. It does not conform well to my body though and I get painful red lines at my waistline after wearing it for an hour or so. I would also like it a lot more if it were longer and covered my torso completely.

I had an excellent result from using the Belly Bandit Original Belly Wrap! I had a natural delivery at the hospital. I began using this Belly Wrap right after I had my son. To start, I loved using this product immediately postpartum, as it truly helped me feel good. I felt a little more put together and much more COMFORTABLE. Wearing this in the hospital also offered me good support for my back while breastfeeding. I wore this belly wrap for 6 weeks, as recommended, and I believe this product truly did what it was supposed to do. For me, I chose to use this wrap overnight and during the day. I believe, because of this wrap, I had no sign of diastasis recti, which I was grateful for. I would definitely recommend this product!

I've really loved my belly bandit! I'm four weeks post partum and my stomach has come back together nicely. I followed the size chart on the Belly Bandit website, and I'm glad I did! I almost ordered a medium because I was borderline small/medium when I initially measured, but I went a size down. Good thing! And actually, I need an even smaller size (I'm going to borrow my friend's extra small). I worked out my entire pregnancy, and went back to the gym after two weeks so I think my body shrunk quicker than most, so those results may not be totally typical. I'd definitely say go a size down if you're in between sizes, you want it to be tight! My friend said her husband had to help her get it on the first few days. Having the support around your abdomen and back is really nice when your belly is "squishy" after birth.

Wife wasn't able to use as it was too stiff/not comfortable. She was able to get the correct size (closed just enough) but it was too hurts to wear under her rib cage and difficult to sit with.

This product really works! I bought mine 5 days post partum and wear it 8-12 hours a day. Within 2 days I could already see a difference. I feel well supported and it’s comfortable to wear for long periods. Another good point Is that so far I don’t have any unsightly loose skin- which I attribute to this product. It can slide upwards so I have to readjust it a couple of times. I’d also advise buying a size bigger. Using the measuring tool on their website I was a small (I’m currently size 10, was size 8 before baby), however this was too small, so I needed to use a medium Size for 10 days before switching to the smaller size.
