Richardson Sheffield CU000 Cucina Paring Knife, Silver

This was a bit bigger than I'd expected for a paring knife (I really should check the measurements in the description!!) but it's a brilliant knife. Very sharp and ideal for vegetables and hard fruits. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it.

Be warned: this is a very sharp knife! I know this because I’ve just cut my finger trying to remove it from the terrible packaging! Basically, the knife is sheathed in a cardboard wallet, but held in place with very strong cow gum. Trying to remove the gum from the blade was a chore, and I had to resort to using nail polish remover to clean it off. Cuts ensued!! Otherwise, a great knife :)

A very and sharp knife. However I found it difficult and potentially dangerous to remove it from the packaging. When I eventually removed it I found glue stuck on the blade which I had to remove with…..White Spirit causing another potentially dangerous situation.

I wasn't expecting much for the price, and I've only used the knife a few times. So far, I'm really pleased with it. The blade is really sharp. The blade is so sharp that you would need to take extra care when peeling. the overall weight is and size is great and it also looks good too. Very sturdy and easy to use.

I have been getting on well with the slightly bigger Cucina knife, so didn’t hesitate when deciding to get a smaller ‘paring knife’ for vegetable preparation, let’s have the identically-made slightly smaller version. It was a good call, both knives are in great demand when myself and others are preparing meals, they’re so useful for everything from peeling/cutting vegetables to removing the bomb-proof packaging that food comes in nowadays!

The knives are stuck to cardboard packing and trying to get the glue off The knife blade was more or less impossible - used surgical spirit with a cloth and cut my finger. Very sharp knives and just whst I wanted but can supplier advise how to get glue off blade.

A very good knife. Have been using it for a few months and it's not gone blunt just yet. Just small enough for daily use.

Alors là je suis bluffée. Ce petit couteau ne paye pas de mine et pourtant, il est vraiment efficace ! J'en avais marre des couteaux qui ne coupent pas, sans grande conviction j'ai commandé celui-là, eh bien ça change tout ! À voir à quelle fréquence il faudra l'aiguiser mais pour le prix, foncez !

After some disappointment with other parer knifes I decided to buy some from Richardson's as I have a pair of other Richardson kitchen knives that are still sharp and doing the job after 30-40 years of use. The parer knifes I received are very sharp and I hope they will still this way for years to come.

Very good quality, very sharp, solid construction. . Good for paring and cutting small potatoes and things. Very happy with this product.
