I like the set for the price. It's decent quality for starter. The backdrop poles are aluminum. And not very sturdy or strong. You can only put up the light paper like backdrops included in kit. My kit was missing the umbrellas. Tried to get a partial refund or have then send me the replacements. But no reply. So it's a crapshoot to get reply.Even with the missing parts it's an OK deal. I recommend trying another seller with guarantee they'll include a full set.

The delivery speed is very fast!!Overall satisfied with the studio set, just disappointed with one light bulb is out of order, luckily Amazon agreed to refund $5 for this bug, I can buy a new light bulb in my location region.

Love it thought I came with a carrying case for all but it didn’t other wise it’s great!!

I am just starting out with my photography business and purchased this to be mobile. I really like the lighting, and soft boxes. The backdrop seems a bit flimsy, and the backdrop muslin that comes in the kit is pretty much useless. The creases are impossible to get out all of the way, I tried 3 different methods. The black is very bright and doesn’t show up true black in exposed black and white photos, there is a discernible glare off of it, no matter how you set exposures or lighting. Overall; it was a good set for the cost, and I will use it for the foreseeable future, sans backdrops. Invest the money in good quality seamless paper or vinyl for quality.

I am an amateur photographer, and order this set thinking that all this stuff was going to help setup my studio for great pictures.1. Unpacking was relatively easy2. No instructions present, had to figure out a few things, such as mounting the modifier on the lamp holder, it is a snap on system.3. There are so many fluorescent bulbs included, it is a bit overwhelming. It would have been ok if they lasted. After the first use about 40% of them went out, so I ended up with trash that I cannot put in the trash. Also, if you turn them on, off and on again they burn out.4. The 3 backdrops came folded, the wrinkles at folding locations are very hard to remove, after ironing them for 4 hours, unable to get rid of them completely.5. The backdrop hangers broke in the first use6. Having cables around is a hazard, on my first photo session I nearly tripped several times, also very inconvenient to locate properly, as you are limited by the cable length, unless you have an extension.7. There is a stand that allows for the modifier to have an extension to be set at an angle (to light up the subject from the top) this is VERY unstable. on the first photo session, it toppled over, nearly hitting the model, this could have been disastrous if the bulbs had broken, perhaps injuring or electrocuting my model. Big No No.8. The only usable parts are the stands, and the umbrellas, as for the modifiers, I doubt they will work with other model.9. No matter how many lights you turn on, you will not be able to lower your ISO below 400 or so, with f/1.8 in your 50mm lens, 1/100, using Canon T6. Your pics will be grainy, this increases the amount of work in post.I know this looks like you get a lot for your money, the reality is, considering the safety issues, and the poor quality of all the elements, you are better off saving this money and buying a speedlite with some accesories, at least you will be able to shoot lower ISOs, particularly if you have a low budget camera like me.

I used this kit on a shoot not too long again and it held up great! I love the soft boxes. They are portable and easy to breakdown after a long shoot. The backgrounds worked great after a little steaming and the stands worked great for being at this price point. Overall I’m happy with my purchase.
