Was very impressed with the size of the mailbox. The mailbox is durable and great for its purpose.

Our mailman had a tendency to stuff packages into our small box. This works well going in as the metal is rolled to the inside. This does not work well taking the packages out as the metal roll now works against you.The bigger box is wonderful. Nothing is folded [like large envelopes marked 'photographs do not bend'], and smaller boxes are not torn because we do not have to fight to get them out.If you are lucky enough to have a power pole close by [like we do], plant it to the side of the pole away from oncoming traffic, leaving enough out for the flag to show and the snow plow blade never hits it! That idea came from the postmaster.

What took me so long to order this huge mail box, it is awesome and the mailman will be so happy, it will hold packages and he won’t have to come to the house as often! Excellent buy and I recommend! Hurry buy one if you need more room for your orders!

I was going to return this because my Post Office put one in for me. They said theirs was big but this one is huge!I decided to keep this mailbox and install myself. I’ve read the reviews which stated this was too flimsy? Once you secure the bottom it becomes much more sturdy. I bought the steel install kit from amazon which fit like a glove. Also the reviews stated the door will not stay closed? Again, when you install it with the correct Bottom, it closes pretty tight.So I’m glad I didn’t return this. Works just fine and I installed in less than 30 min.👍🏻 That includes removal of the one the post office installed.

We buy so much online these days we needed a bigger mailbox. We are rural and the rural carrier had to get out of their car so often to deliver packages I decided to get a bigger mailbox. First delivery, we got a note from the carrier thanking us. Nice mailbox, glad I bought and installed it.

This was a gift. It is perfect for someone who gets a fair amount of deliveries

My current mailbox door broke. I looked for a replacement and found this new mailbox for less than the replacement door. Expected delivery was 1 1/2 to 2 weeks which was fine. I got the box like 3-4 days after order. Easy to install, looks great. Love the size as it can hold medium size packages that keeps them from being delivered and visible on front porch. I highly recommend this size mailbox, both as a customer and as a mail man.

I received the mailbox in good condition and it appears to be built fairly well. The only complaint i have so far is the door closer seems to be weak. It doesn`t take much effort to close the door and i noticed it would pop back open on its own while i was mounting it on the post. It would be better equipped if it had a magnetic type closer instead of metal to metal. I think for about $5 more it would be better equipped to stay closed securely. I have just installed this box , so it will take time to see if the door closer weakens and i will have to regenerate my own closer.
