Good for the Money
The media could not be loaded. For the price, this is a pretty good clamp light. Here's the breakdown:Pros:Very brightLong cordEasy and very sturdy switchCons:The clamp is either weak or not sticky enough and can tend to slide from exactly where you want itBottom Line: For the price of this, I can get over the weak clamp and if I really wanted to, I'm sure there is probably an easy fix for it. At the end of the day, if the clamp slips, just adjust the aim point of the light and you're good to go. If I need another clamp light I would buy this again.

Worked like a charm
Used this with a 60watt equivalent LED bulb to light up my 10’ X10’ vendor tent. Clipped it on in the corner & it lit up my entire tent. Inexpensive, durable, strong clip, perfect for any kind of quickie lighting situation. I bought 3 thinking it wouldn’t be bright enough and only needed one. Totally adjustable you can aim the light in any direction, the clip held securely. So glad I got them.

Great clamp lights
Always looking around for another clamp light for the next long term project. I like the smaller 5.5 inch reflectors, as they do not get in your way like the 8.5" or larger reflectors. The reflector screws on to the plastic fixture snugly, and without any wobble that makes you think it will fall off like others I have used. I have learned to use the new LED lights in these; they use far less power, with much more light, and they run cool which is important when dealing with a plastic fixture. One more feature of LED's, is that they can take a hit and not break which happens all the time with these work lights.

Don't walk away from this lamp when it is plugged in.
"Unplug when not in use," was on the warning sheet sent with this. "Do not use as a permanent source of light" was also there. Neither of these caveats were stated in the product description. I had intended to use this as a nightlight for my cat in the garage, but I don't want to have her killed in a fire. So I will buy something else but, honestly - when they say this is suitable for use with aquariums are they expecting that the aquarium owner is going to stay right there all the time it is on? Maybe fish are not flammable.

As advertised
Although I am disappointed in my purchase, it is my fault for not making sure I read more closely. These fixtures are study, appear to be very well made, have the six foot cord as advertised, and are only 5.5 inches across. Having never seen this small version, I thought I was buying the "regular" ones that are probably about 10 inches across. Another disappointment is that it only holds a 60 watt bulb. But even though they weren't exactly what I was planning on, I'm going to use them for my project and be okay with it.

Great for temporary lighting
Worked great for setting up lighting for Halloween decorations. I used these for CFL black lights and placed around my yard to point at my decorations. They are a good deal for the number you get. Power cord is long and useful. The switch isn't super sturdy so it wouldn't be best for heavy usage but perfect for temporary purposes. For the price, hard to beat.

Which half of the switch is on, and which is off, who knows?
So, I bought this lamp to help out with my terrarium and it works, it's great, but the reason why it only got three stars is because when I hooked it all up, with the thermometer, and the bulb, on my tank. I couldn't actually figure out if it was on or not. The bulb that I'm using is a ceramic heat emitter, and it does not produce light. So I only knew that it was working when it finally started getting hot it took me about 20 to 30 minutes until I realized that it was in the off position because where the switch is it doesn't show you which is on and which is off, you just have to figure it out....

Functional Lamp that may Cause Cancer
The negligent writer of the item's description failed to mention that, according to the warning label, the product may expose you to Lead or Phthalate, which are both known to cause cancer and birth defects, among other things. It certainly won't instantly afflict you with a tumour upon touching it, and the risk presented by the product is negligible at best, but as someone with a family history of cancer, I do wish this sort of information was presented up front, rather than having to discover it after the fact. Otherwise, the lamp is perfectly functional, and does its job well, but consumers should nevertheless be given this sort of information by the seller rather than having to discover it for themselves. Will return shortly.

Cheap but works perfectly
Had mine a while now, using them to keep my plants alive indoors during the winter with these lamps and grow bulbs. They are easy to maneuver into a multitude of different positions and have a large range of motion in the various swivel points. Clamps are actually kind of hard to open, so they hold well!

Great lamp amazing price
I ordered this product originally a few years ago when I needed lighting for a miniature greenhouse, since then I've made multiple purchases because this thing is so great! This clamp lamp isn't much different from the other options out there, I can't say there's any feature that really is done better or stands out. What I can say is that this thing is well built, the first one I purchased survived multiple drops, sub-zero temperatures, above-average heat, and high humidity. No issues with the switch, the fixture, the clamp, or the cord. The reflector has a small dent but that was my fault - I would recommend being careful if you plan on throwing bricks near this lamp. The product is well built and feels sturdy, it uses a standard push stick style switch built into the socket housing. The clamp is coated in a rubberized sleeve and has a good amount of grip but it will struggle on slippery surfaces which are narrow or provide little to grip on to. You can get creative and wrap the clamp around or play with the position and it will attach to mostly anything. I've used it with a wide range of bulbs with no problems: low wattage LED (13W), high wattage large LED (50W+), CFL (9-50W). The largest bulb I used was 18x21cm LED bulb with a tapered base but the reflector ended up redundant due to the design of the bulb. Luckily it's easy to remove the reflector or the clamp, or both if you need to.All that aside, the main selling point here is the price! The closest competing product I've found is nearly twice the price and even more in local shops. For a UL certified product, this is a steal.

Great Product
I use two of these lights in my art studio and they are incredibly handy when you need to manipulate the light source. They attach to almost anything and they can be positioned in a multitude of ways to get the light right where you need it. These lamps and the clamps are very sturdy, easy to use and very reasonably priced. I'd recommend for sure!

Works great...
What's not to love? It's $7.50! The light bulb I put in it cost more than this fixture. Install an LED bulb and it makes a great trouble light for working in an attic or crawl space. Yes, the metal is thin, but again: it's $7.50. And if you install a 100 watt equivalent LED bulb like I did, it's really, really bright as well (and with almost no heat).
