A great amp sound fantastic .

OK, had mk1 ht1r for years which after Celestion speaker upgrade, sounded good but very boxy. I have tried Yamaha thr's but all the 'gain models' sound crap to me.Got Katana next which I use only on clean channel with a few pedals and sounds fantastic for a £200 combo.Fell back into the must have a valve amp, so went for mk2 hr5r. Again I like the cleans with US voicing. Amps quite loud and prefer 5w setting, just wish could use the equilazer on clean channel. Mine has annoying bass buzz with neck pick ups on low strings.Is it twice as good as Katana? Imo no!
