Flattering, cool, comfortable, and affordable. A real bargain!
I love these so much, I bought three pairs, and if this heat continues, I'll probably go back for a fourth.I'm 50yo, 5'7", hovering between 140-145 lbs. I've got a bit of a "mom" stomach and some slight love handles, but I'm naturally more straight-up-and-down than apple-shaped or hourglass.I typically wear a medium or large in Athleta workout bottoms, depending on the cut, and went with the large on these. The medium just fit in the waist, but the fabric pulled quite a bit across the upper hips/lower stomach, so I went with the larges and tightened up the waist with the endless drawstring. The larges flow nicely across my stomach, sit flat on my rear end, and don't ride up in the legs or crotch when I run.The legs are cut straight enough to be flattering, not too tight but they also don't flap around or stick out at the sides. They might not work for someone with super muscular or curvy thighs, but mine aren't exactly twigs, and these fit with room to spare. I tried a similar style from a more expensive athletic-wear brand, and they had super-wide legs with unfinished laser-cut edges that floated out and didn't drape nicely because they weren't hemmed like these are. I looked ridiculous. These are nice enough that I can run errands in them and not feel totally exposed. There's a great zipper pocket at the back of the wide, stretchy fabric waistband that fits my iPhone 11 (without a case) after some maneuvering past the zipper, which is considerably smaller than the pocket itself. It seemed a little awkward at first, but I never notice it at all once it's settled in place. My melanite and arctic plum pairs also have two small key pockets in the front of the waistband (set into the top edge of waistband itself, no zipper), but my navy ones don't have those for some reason. Again, the stretchy pockets are much larger than the openings (which are 2 1/2 inches wide, with no stretch), so you could easily slide a chunky car fob or a chapstick in them, but probably not an energy gel.The mid-rise waist and lack of thick, bunchy elastic keeps them cool even in the DC-area heat and humidity, the fabric breathes well and—most importantly!—doesn't show sweat marks, at least not in the darker colors I bought (melanite, navy, and arctic plum). I don't feel swampy or or chafed in these, no matter how sweaty I get.The quality is excellent, with well-turned reinforced seams and no loose threads or crooked construction. I've washed them in cold on gentle and dried on low dozens of times, with no discernible difference. I'll also note that aside from the missing key pockets on the navy pair, otherwise all three pair were identical. No differences in sizing between the various colors. My only complaint, and I suspect it's more due to my own body shape than any real design flaw, is that the mesh inner lining sometimes feels a little diaper-like and bunchy because my butt isn't curvy enough to fill it out completely. If you've got a bit more junk in your trunk than I do, they'll probably feel fine for you. It's not bad enough that I'm constantly picking at them or trying to straighten them while I run, though, and it certainly wasn't a big enough problem to keep me from going back for two more pair.

Great Lulu dupes!
I absolutely love these shorts and the CRZ yoga brand in general!! I own them in a variety of colors now. They are comfortable while also stylish. I am five foot two for reference and the length is flattering. These are great for active women/moms on the go. They have a small zip pocket in the back for keys/card. I basically live in these and wear them more than my Lulu shorts.

fabric not as light and breathable
Cut is not as comfortable as Lululemon and fabric not as light and breathable.Quality of seams is very good and I am curious how long they will last. I have Lululemon shorts that are 10 years old, much used and still going strong.I am 6.1, athletic build and wear size 10 in Lululemon and bought Large for this model, probably the right size for me. Fit as expected, besides slightly tighter front.Would I run a 10k in these? - maybeWould I run anything beyond with these shorts? - no- This is evaluated for running in Texas summer heat -- if you live in a more moderate temp area then you probably are totally fine running in these -The fabric is thicker and less breathable and the front part of these shorts has a tighter cut compared to Lululemon shorts. However, if you have thin thighs then you probably won't notice.I literally live in these type of short throughout the summer and wear them under dresses. For that purposes I find these shorts to be definitely worth the price and quality.Bottom line:3 stars for using these shorts for running in hot temps4 stars for using these shorts in moderate temps4 stars for day to day shorts in the summer

I could wear these every day
I bought these because I read that they were a good dupe for the LuluLemon shorts. When I first tried them on, I was disappointed that they felt a little tight and were pretty low waisted. However, if you seek comfort and flattery, these shorts will become your best friend. They do start to fit better the more you wear them, and in my case that's a lot. I am not one for writing reviews, but I had to for these ones because I hope other considering these will buy these versus spending around $80 for name brand shorts. These are plenty flattering around the butt, were perfect length for my height (especially as I get picky with how pants fit my thighs), and I honestly couldn't ask for more from these. Aside from how the pockets seem pointless since they're pretty small and somewhat oddly placed, there are multiple which is pretty generous. I do have to offer respect for that. I will look out for how fast these shorts lose their shape, but I am definitely buying another pair because I feel so perfect in them! Comfy and flattering - a win-win for all!

Bunchy with movement
I love the way these look. They are flattering until I start moving in them. I can only take a few steps before I have to do a plié to let the bunched up fabric move back. I really wanted these to work so I ordered them again in a larger size. Same issue, but the larger size was definitely too big. I am 5'2 and about 125 pounds. I have athletic thighs and a round bottom. Not sure if these would be better for someone less curvy. The reviews were all good. The quality was good, but even after I removed the inner lining, I still had the bunching issue.

Awesome shorts!
These fit so nice! They're similar to lulus, but much more affordable. I bought the navy ones and loved them so much, I bought another color! Comfortable, and they're very flattering!

Amazing shorts for sport or casual wear
These shorts surprised me with great quality, fit and flattering style. The size S says inside UK size 8, and I know I am a size 2-4 (I almost ordered an XS (I have a tiny booty) but I’m glad I didn’t based on reviews because the S fits me perfectly. So I would say they fit maybe a bit small, but they’re flattering and comfortable with a stretch, inside underwear lining (not visible, however I got black - I don’t know how the white would be) and a little zipper pocket for a card or key storage. I came back and ordered another pair!

Size Small in Graphite gray
I am very pleased with the color, fabric, cut and fit. They are definitely comparable to the Lululemon's Speed Up shorts, except these run larger (yes, despite their size chart in top items). I am 5'9", 150 lbs, 8 in pants size, and took a Small after I bought a Medium. Small is closer to a 6 and medium 8-10. I love and wear both, but I prefer the Small because of the waist size and no excess fabric. I had to pull the elastic up until the end with the Medium for it to be tight around the waist. I won't use the elastic at all with the size Small. Will definitely buy more colors of this.
