This bed is easy to assemble, just follow the instructions. I've read reviews where the bed inflated lumpy and I think, maybe, there was a hole in the vacuum sealed plastic wrapper that caused the bed to start inflating in the confines of the box. All I can say is mine did not have this issue and inflated perfectly level. I just assembled a couple of days ago so can't speak about the overall longevity, but appears well made and worth the money. As far as chew proof there is no bed on this planet that a dog can't chew if they are so inclined. This is actually part of the review questions which seems ridiculous to me. As far as ease of washing it seems it will be a breeze. The bolsters are in their own zippered compartment as well as the main cushion and both are EASILY removable for cleaning the cover in the washer. I've bought many dog beds over the years and this one impressed me with the thought that went into the design.

This is the second "Sealy Lux Quad Layer Orthopedic Dog Bed with Cooling Gel" that we purchased. The first was an X-tra Large for our 3 yr old, 130 lb German Shepherd and our 13 yr old, 54 lb Basset Hound to share, which they did, but now the GSD won't disturb the Basset if she has the bed first and will whine about it. He's very respectful....so we bought the Basset her own bed in a large which fits her perfectly. We LOVE these dog beds because they have EVERYTHING our dogs want and need. They can rest their heads on the sturdy but soft bolster sides, snuggle against the sides, stay cool with the Cooling Gel feature, stretch out or curl up, rest old joints on the orthopedic layers, and it's an easy clean. Love, love, that the interior is protected from drool and leaks too! This bed has EVERYTHING a dog and owner could ever want in a dog bed.

The dogs all love this bed. The only thing that I would have liked to have seen was the area where the dog lays, is somewhat thin and I am concerned that the fabric isn't going to last very long. I would like to have seen an option to purchase other covers in case/when the cover wears out or gets torn. That said, the dogs love the bed and often race to see who can claim it each night.

I ordered this bed because I was looking for something that would take the pressure off my pekingese's arthritic points. He had been limping a lot with his old bed. I ordered the large size hoping it would be big enough for him to stretch out. Well it is that and then some. We have two dogs, and both of them easily fit onto the bed with room to stretch their legs. Plus all their toys fit onto the bed along with them. It's at least 4 inches thick at the lowest point, and with at least 3 square feet of space on the inner part between the walls. I would recommend this bed to anyone. Well worth the money. Good quality, durable, and tough. My pekingese has a long history of shaking his beds to the point of destroying them. This is heavy enough and tough enough to prevent that from occurring.

This is in-fact a very nice bed. I think it’s nice looking, well made, and better than the others. However, none of our three dogs will lay on it. We’ve tried EVERYTHING, we’ve put other beds on top of it. Nope, not getting on it, our clothes on it, Mats they sleep on - on it, we’ve put it whew they like to sleep, they move, put the bed they love on it, they won’t go near it. Look I don’t understand it but it’s a case study and the dogs have spoken. Why? Hell if I know. All I know is I’m gonna have to throw away a 100+ dollar dog bed cause our dogs won’t go near it. They literally will sleep on the floor beside it but not on it. So do “I” like it. Yep. I like it a lot. But the dogs won’t even look at it. It’s very very frustrating. Now I’ve kept it so long trying to convince them I can’t return it I guess. So I’m screwed. :-( 🤬 Very disappointed.

Finally! A bed that doesn’t sink to the ground as soon as our big girl climbs onto it. Our Bullmastiff immediately fell asleep on it right after unpacking- I too tried it out and it was very comfortable. I was worried that large would be too small but it’s perfect for her.

Of our four dogs, three love it. It's very high quality, feels a little over priced, but like I said, three out of four dogs, including our picky Dane, and our German Shepherd (who was recovering from a hip replacement), both love it. It has survived the digging of the Dane and the Aussie Doodle, excellent quality.

Ho comprato il letto Sealy Lux per il mio cane anziano. Il primo giorno lo annusava senza entrarci. Il secondo giorno ha deciso di entrarci e da allora il Sealy Lux è diventato il suo preferito in assoluto. Le altre due cuccie in casa vengono ignorate. Lui soffre il caldo e lo strato refrigerante è di aiuto. Il memory foam e il fondo antiscivolo rendono questa cuccia un'ottimo acquisto.

The dogs love it

Expensive bed but very good quality and comfort. Had a lie on it myself and was impressed. The mattress is quite heavy and well made. I have the bed covered in a blanket, dog very happy and cosy.

My senior dog loves this bed! She often likes to have her head propped up, so the design is very much to her liking. Definitely recommend.
