Fits Squier Classic Vibe 70s Strat just right (not too loose, not too tight)
I bought another brand's bone nut, advertised as "fits Fender and Squier Telecaster and Stratocaster," which based on how nuts fit my MIM tele and Indonesia Squier is an oxymoron. It was slightly loose in the (undamaged) Squier slot. This fit my "Classic Vibe 70s Strat" Squier just right - tight enough to stay in place if you turn the fretboard upside down with it in, without any adhesive, but no so tight as to cause the fretboard to bulge in any way. It does need to be groomed at both sides, which protruded about 1.5mm on each side.I bought this to to a partscaster upgrade with Texas Special pickups, brass block trem, and nut replacement, and the results is just outstanding in every regard. Highly recommend this nut.

Quality Nut
Nice resonance after I got my nut off and installed. Easy to sand to proper size. Came a bit wide, high and long for that purpose. I had no need to file slots for size 9 slinky. Seems ok for 10s as well. Installed in Squier Starcaster ( 2021). String spacing is perfect for this guitar. No radius on nut slot so no radius needed to shape. Nut bottom is flat so no need to remove any radius nubs. Measures about 43mm. I had to sand around half a mm from each side and about a half mm or less from thickness for good fit. I recommend.

Looks fine. Haven’t installed it yet.
It looks fine. Haven’t installed it yet, but I did NOT receive the Guitar Mounting Ferrules, Wear Resistance Guitar String Through Plate that were said to have been delivered in the same package.

Worth it.
Nothing else is worth installing. No nut really fits without some modification. However, even if you don't know what your doing this will improve your instrument. If you do have a little patience and knowhow it will drastically improve your playing experience. I have Graphtech XL on every guitar regardless of pricepoint.

Quality Nut -- with some effort
I like Graph Tech products, but this particular nut is not a drop in fit for Squier Strats or Teles. I bought 3 recently, and they all needed considerable filing and sanding, both to fit the slot, and to get close to the right depth. On one, in order to get 2 strings to the proper height, I further filed the nut slots. I filed one just a little too deep though, rendering the entire nut useless, and after all the time I'd put into it. I think I'll see if they make a better drop-in fitted nut for Strats and Teles.

Perfect fit barely had to sand.
Perfect fit barely had to sand, great sustain and durability by far beats plastic

Fits Squier Starcaster Classic Vibe
.5 mm wider and 2 mm longer than the original, took 10 minutes of hand sanding for a perfect fit. 100% better than the stock nut manufacturer says was a bone nut- sounded like plastic.

GREAT replacement guitar nut for an Ibanez RX!
I was in the midst of refurbishing an Ibanez RX20 with major tuning issues given the plastic nut and low-grade tuners all stemming from the stock tremolo. After removing the original, badly worn nut, I outfitted the neck with this beauty. Impregnated with teflon, perfectly spaced to match my string spacing, I now reduced the tuning issues to a minimum. These Graph Tech nuts come with extra bulk on the width and height, so sanding is a necessity. Which is good, because you can ensure the proper fit, and have the added bonus of adjusting the string action to your liking. The depth of the nut is a perfect fit as well. Follow the instructions on Graph-Tech's web site for measuring the depth and sting spacing before ordering. You will not be disappointed with this.Highly recommended!
