I often pull my long hair back casually without actually making a pony tail, and I would use a regular multi tooth clip to just hold it back, but those after a while pinch my head or are just a mess. This clip is the perfect solution for me. No, it won't really hold a pony tail neatly for a long time, and probably would not hold my hair too high up, but to hold it back lower on my head, it does a fantastic job and makes my life easier.

I had shoulder surgery and could not figure out how to one handed keep my hair up and out of my face. I tried stretchy and non-stretchy headbands, slouchy caps, banana clips, couldn't make anything look nice with one hand. Tried to get my husband to use a ponytail elastic but he couldn't get the hang of it. Got this clip and my husband did perfect ponytails in 5 seconds. No other claw clips every stay tight in my hair like this one. Love it! Buying more.

Just not worth the extra cost. You can get a less expensive brands that work the same or better.I was fixing it all day.

This clip is great to put under pony tails or messy buns for a little extra lift.

I should have noticed before ordering that there are only 2 claws on one side and 1 claw on the opposite side. You could use it for a pony tail instead of an elastic. Too small for a larger amount of hair in an updo.

I have fine thin hair and this works beautifully.
