Excellent build quality in an affordable package
I had an old Kuryakyn Full Dresser tail bag that came with my 2001 Honda Magna, and it started to come apart at the zipper. Since it had become so brittle from sun damage, I decided to research new tail bags to see what would suit my purposes. I was originally looking at Saddlemen bags, but they were a little too expensive for me. I checked into new Kuryakyn bags and saw the review video over at RevZilla, and I was very intrigued. I figured the Road Warrior bag was large enough for my usual commuting and my weekend rides, and I can always mount extra bags on the exterior MOLLE points. When it arrived, I was immediately impressed by the structure and durability of the material, as it was a definite step up from my previous bag. The 1200-denier nylon is as tough, if not tougher, than my traveling luggage. The bottle pockets are convenient for holding drinks so I don’t have to open the bag compartments unnecessarily. The main compartment has more than enough space to hold my helmet if I want to store it in there, or to carry all of my tools when I’m riding for work. Since I tend to travel up to 200 miles a day for work, I like to use my bike to save on fuel. The attachment system was a breeze, and the buckles hold securely even when I’m going down the highway. There’s also a convenient shoulder strap to carry the bag when you dismount it, making transitioning from riding to work a breeze. Overall, I would highly recommend this bag to anyone who needs a mid-size tail bag for commuting or as a start to a touring kit. It even comes with a rain cover that holds securely over the bag in rough weather. Kuryakyn has done an amazing job redesigning their line, and of the Kuryakyn products, only the XKursion series is better built than the Momentum line.

Best Bag for a Motorcycle
This is the best bag I have ever purchased. It was spendy, but I guess you get what you pay for. Sturdy, rigid shaping. Lots of D rings for attachments. I run a locking cable thru the rings and put the locks under the seat, which keeps it safe at stops. It has a rain cover in a zipper compartment on the bottom of the bag (took me awhile to find it! I was about 5 seconds from contacting the seller and complaining.... The ONLY inconvenient thing about it was there was no feature sheet to tell you where all the hidden goodies,(like the rain cover) are. There are straps for using it as a back pack and a shoulder strap. I ride a Can Am Spyder RT and this fits perfectly on the rear seat.

Great for trips. Easy mounting.
Man I love this bag on long road trips. Plenty of room and pockets. Mounts easy as a solo backrest or on a two up rack. Side access is nice too. The price went up on them from when I got mine but worth it my opinion.

Ok, but big and heavy
I bought this to take a week long motorcycle trip on my BMW mainly because I wanted to use it as a back rest. It is very well made with plenty of space. The zippers and access is great. Tough material. External pockets are really handy. However,... I have side cases on my touring bike. I use them to carry bike related stuff; tools, rain gear, extra gloves, water, even helmet storage. I never came close to filling this bag half full and it is very heavy. So, the bag was actually heavier than the clothes in it. Second, I don't have a sissy bar, which would be convenient, but it does strap down well on my passenger seat. If you have a Harley with a sissy bar, it would be more convenient to slip on and off, and putting it inside with the sissy bar for support, it might make a reasonable back rest too. But I think for my purposes it's just too much unless I decide to make a cross country trip. Even then, I might just try getting a larger wet bag that's more compact and light.

Awesome weekend bag
Got this for a weekend trip up north for my wife and me, at a house not camping. Plenty of room for all our stuff(clothes, personal items and shoes) and seems very well built. The supplied straps and built in seat straps worked flawlessly. It didn’t move at all on the 5 hr trip and i used the rain cover the whole time to try to keep it clean. I did wrap a bungee on each side to make sure the rain cover didn’t fall off but don’t think it was really necessary. I highly recommend this bag.

Great large motorcycle traveling bag
Researched motorcycle bags for several months prior to my purchase. Infact, prior to getting this bag, I ordered a bag which was approx. the same size from Saddleman. Only because, Every time I tried to purchase the Kuryakyn 5284 Momentum Road Warrior Motorcycle Travel Luggage, I kept getting a can't deliver this bag to your address. The Saddleman was not my top choice; However, the only big bag that I could get delivered to my address. So I made the purchase. The Saddlemans reviews were o.k., but did get a number 1 and 2 star ratings, unlike the Kuryakyn 5284 Momentum Road Warrior Motorcycle Travel Luggage. Anyway, a couple of days later, I came across this Amazon vendor that would deliver the bag to my address. I returned the Saddleman the same day I received it and purchased the 5284. I received the bag and inspected every little detail of the bag. The bag is well built with plenty of storage for my extended motorcycle road trips. The bag has plenty of straps to strongly secure the bag to my motorcycle. I am very happy with my purchase and will purchase additional Kuryakyn products for my Indian Chief Vintage as Indian accessories are priced very high for my budget.

Great Bag for Long Trips (RAINCOVER IS INCLUDED)
THERE IS A FOLDED RAIN COVER IN A POCKET AT THE OUTSIDE BOTTOM OF THE BAG. You have to look. That’s the only addition to all of the compliments about this bag. A few people have commented that the rain cover is not in the box. It is there. This is a nice, big bag with plenty of tie-down options. I mounted mine on my 2019 Goldwing bagger. No sissy bar needed and it rides well. 2 buckle snaps and 2 spring hooks to undo to remove the bag at the hotel. Comes with a top handle and two side handles as well as a shoulder strap to carry it. Packed for 10 days with a bit of room to spare.
