We bought this tape for the kids to use so their art would have less environmental impact (than plastic tape).It came in a cardboard box with plastic teeth for tearing. My 4yo can easily tear the tape so it provides independence.This cardboard box was placed in another cardboard box for shipping along with 2 plastic packing pillows.Not zero-waste, but it is minimal.Alisa has been super responsive to my questions about recycling/ composting and gave me permission to share her answer here:It always helps to know what it is made from: Our masking tape is made from natural dyed crepe paper with a natural rubber adhesive. No plastic. Our adhesive is a Dow product. We manufacture our tape in Mexico.Recycling is typically a local issue. Some recyclers take masking tape, and some do not. Some actually will buy it. Crepe paper is already recycled, so the fibers are short; this is why it is usually not desirable for recycling. Please check locally to see if you can recycle it.Our tape is made from paper, natural rubber and natural dyes, and it is biodegradable. If you have curbside composting, you will need to check with your service provider to see if they accept it. In my travels I have discovered so much variance in the materials that services accept. In San Francisco they take just about anything that is biodegradable. Here in Boise they are super picky. But we do get to go fill up our truck with free compost!

I got this to add to my preschooler’s art supply collection. I think I love most that the storage box doubles as a dispenser, and the cutting teeth are sharp enough to work but dull enough that I feel okay letting her use it with supervision. There is quite a bit of tape here, I don’t anticipate needing to replace it any time soon. Great product.

Great tool for classroom decor/management and labeling. I have used it to separate sections on whiteboards, tables, and the floor and to label classroom tools. It is very easy to peel up, so the floor markings will not last very long, but the tape rolls come with a lot, so I should have plenty to fix it all year. I like how easy it is to remove - I know I won't get in any trouble from the building manager for tearing up paint from the walls. I have also wrapped the tape around tools and baskets so that each classroom table can easily identify their tools by the color.I wish the light blue/dark blue were a little easier to tell apart. In the product photo the light blue appears much lighter than it really is. The "light" blue looks like standard painter's tape, and the dark blue is a just a shade darker than that. If I could give the product 4.5 stars, I would have for this reason.

I got this tape for my preschool classroom to do many activities such as gross motor skills as well as take part. The kids love it. This tape has never been disappointing. The colours are great as well as the sticky.

My girls like it b/c they can use a tape dispenser, however, it is a little difficult to tear. They like to use it all the time with their crafts. It's a nice additive to our crafting choices.

The thing I liked most about this purchase was the dispenser box. The colors of the tapes were much more washed out than the looked in their picture. The pink is a pale peach the colors look great in the box but that's because they are layered on the roll. Some of the colors stand up off the roll like the painters tape blue and the black butmore don't. Also I wish there had been a white .

This tape works great! Also the dispenser is really nice. I have used this to label files, and food that I put in the freezer. I love the different colors. Very pleased.

This tape holder is great! It holds so many fun colors of masking tape! We are very crafty so it is awesome to have all our tape in one easy place! it has a serrated edge so you can easily tear off just what you need. This has a closable lid for when you arent using tape. Great quality, great price and so easy to use! :)

Great idea, lots of possible uses for this, really fun! But unfortunately it does peel off soon after, especially when applied layer on top if layer upon itself.

Schöne Farben. Klassisches Malercrepe das leider schlecht haftet. Die geklebten enden lösen sich sogar auf verputzten Wänden bereits nach einem Tag. Hatte mir erhofft, dass dem nicht so ist... Kann das tape nicht empfehlen
