Adobe After Effects CC Classroom in a Book (2019 Release)

If you are just getting started with After Effects, this is a good place to start, but I will say that some of the exercises are a bit complex to understand. If you have a good background in the Adobe Suite, you will understand this better, but if you are brand new, I would say to use this in conjunction with online beginner tutorials to help you learn.

I love these Classroom in a Book books, its not just reading to memory there is a lot actual hands on exercises which is how you learn and understand. This is my 3rd. book. If you want to learn anything that Adobe puts out these are the best learning aides imop.

I like the book because Peachpit offers online lesson to go along with the chapters. You will cover most of the basics and some more advanced things in AE CC2019.

Good school book

For someone new to After Effects, this is the official book

This book has lots of great examples and explains many different concepts in Adobe After Effects. Great for someone working in TV or Film to take their AE skills to the next level.
