Another wonderful Lily Blossom bedtime read for you and your kid!
"What shall we pretend to be today?"This book is about giving yourself the freedom to be anything you want and to simply have fun! And Lily and her friend really know how to have fun together. The book really draws you into Lily’s and her friend play.Lily is a very cute and happy child, she is also very creative and her world is really rich in imagination. She is the friend I am sure any kid will love to have, and in this book she becomes our friend.Yes, it is a really perfect day! Again I am inspired by the gorgeous illustrations and Barbara miller's unique style! As a best seller author myself, I think this book has a very important added value- especially today, when children are used to get everything ready and are not used to make an effort. This book shows our children that they can think creatively and imagine in their minds they can be anyone they want-"What shall we pretend to be today?" ask the girls. Even learning read and write could be creative this way.If you and your kid enjoy imaginative stories, you will have a wonderful experience"This book reminded me the book “a day in the sun” by Frank Berrios. If you loved this book check out Lily Lemon Blossom Welcome to Lily's Room and experience another Lily Blossom adventure. You might want to check out also The Dinosaur Who Wanted to Fly as a tale of imagination and bravery for your kidsAs a bestselling author myself, to make the story more interesting, I would have added a small plot inside, create a small conflict, it would have add another aspect to the story and enrich it.This book was a wonderful reading experience on my kindle fire. The formatting was great, the colors vivid and my child loved flipping the pages and looking at the pictures. If you found this review helpful, let the other readers know by clicking "YES" on the HELPFUL VOTE.

Another gorgeous sweet Lily book :-)
Loved the first book and love this second book in the Lily Lemon Blossom series. Again, the illustrations are spectacular, with beautiful bright harmonious colours and lots of nice little details to discover. The story is cute and positive which I look for in a book with happy uplifting themes throughout. Great! Loved the girls' exploration of their imagination. :-) Personally, I would have liked the focus to be more on the princesses and ballerina aspects than the teacher aspects, but this might just be personal preference (perhaps a future book? :-)) What I particularly love about both these books is that they end with the happy day coming to a close with Lily snuggling up in bed - this is *perfect* for bedtime reading and I hope that future Lily books will follow this trend. :-) There is a substantial number of pages and perfect amount of text, which make this an appealing picture book option. Hope to see more Lily adventures soon! (ideas: sleepover, camping in the garden etc) - I love cozy sweet themes. Keep up the positive delightful upbeat tone - it's fantastic! Great stuff!

The two Lily Lemon books we have are both good. My three-year-old daughter likes them and still asks to read them once in a while. The illustrations are beautiful. My only issue with them (reason they are lacking 1 star) is that the verses are written to rhyme but the rhyming words are not placed in a way that you realize that is the emphasis word. I always have to back track and re-read the lines so that the rhyme comes out right. Seems like a waste of rhymes to me, why not either adjust the word wrap on the verses, or just write stories with no rhymes? The pictures themselves are worth it.

Perfect bedtime storybook for toddlers
We bought our first Lily Lemon Blossom book after I attempted to read the original version of Cinderella - from Kindle collections - and found the language to be way too arcane and antiquated for even adults to understand. I was constantly having to look up the meanings of words. After hunting around for Amazon/s recommendations, we came across this one. Perfect for bedtime reading on a tablet. Each page is nicely drawn and colored, and the text is just enough for 3 year old's to grasp to. I've been reading the collection of Lily Lemon Blossom books - we bought 4 so far - every night since we bought these a few months back. The kids have them all almost complete memorized, along with comments along the way that they love to make, and yet they love reading them every night.

great pictures
My nearly 5-year old daughter loves these books and we have all of them now per her request. The stories are cute, the pictures are simply beautiful - colorful, vivid, well-drawn.However, the writing does leave something to be desired and as an adult reading the books is sometimes painful due to the author's attempt to rhyme (sometimes somewhat rhyme). There is contorted syntax and forced rhymes and the rhythm frequently stumbles. Grammar sometimes also slips. The conclusion, however, is that these books are a big hit with kids, and for adults, the pictures are truly eye candy even if reading out loud hurts the ears and brain at times.

a book your child will read over and over again!
When I first ran into downloading books for my daughter I purchase some books that had small print writing that I could not change however this book not only has cute stories but has very vibrant colors on the pages making little ones want to read more and more and more. after the purchase of this one I purchased a few more for her to read and she loves reading them over and over again. the font size is also perfect.

Great little bedtime read
My little girl loves a short story at bedtime and this is just the right length (about 5 mins) so I don't fall asleep too.
