Way too expensive

I bought for my 87 year old mom a bottle. She remembers going to a pancake restaurant, not IHOP, that had a coconut pancake syrup that she loved back in the late 60’s and 70’s. This would be good for cooking or in drinks.

Lilikoi it’s a fruit with a unique taste, and it definitely is not sweet . I was a syroup it’s basically sugar with some flavor added, not what I was expecting.

Everyone in the family loves this stuff on Pancakes, waffles, Ice-cream , and oatmeal!

I am nostalgic for the coconut syrup once found at pancake restaurants. But this does not meet expectations. It is waayyyy overpriced, contains high fructose corn syrup, doesn't have much flavor, and does not pour like pancake syrup. In fact, it has a sludge-like texture.

It’s very good but, not worth the price.

We first encountered coconut syrup a couple of years ago on the Big Island when we had ginormous pancakes in Wiamea. Ever since we have been on the lookout for this syrup and I was excited to see this one offered on Amazon. I bought it for a Christmas gift for my hubby. We tried it, but unfortunately, the syrup had become separated with mostly solids near the top of the bottle. It took a LOT of effort and shaking to get the contents to recombine. The flavor was really good and reminiscent of what we had in Hawaii. We are keeping the bottle in the fridge and I'm hoping the contents won't separate again. I thought it was a bit pricey for not being "perfect."
