Coast Redwood

My tree was packaged really well and arrived in perfect condition. Looks very healthy. I planted it right away and am hoping it does well. Second picture is 8 months later and it’s doing great! Third photo is after having it for 11 months, I can’t believe how healthy and well it’s growing. I love my little tree.Sadly after doing so well for about a year and a half, this past Summer it struggled and finally turned completely brown and died, Oct 2025. I tried to protect it from the intense dry Summer heat, but I think all the wind finally did it in. So sad.

Had this little stick baby for a year, it's doubled or crippled the original size. It survived the winter outside in NC zone 7. Doesn't seem to mind the brutal heat either. Makes me want to have my own redwood forrest.

The tree came in healthy but has one little dead limb maybe not even an inch long but nothing too major. I love the tree it’s soaking in. It’s water and it’ll be so happy. I think I live in zone 8… so I don’t know how big it’ll get..

Arrived in good condition. Hydrated, well packaged. Healthy. Vibrant green, no brown or wilt. Good planting instructions. Plastic name collars for each. I purchased two Sequoia and two coastal red woods. 1,000 years from now there maybe sequoia and red wood forest on the east coast. I would definitely purchase again and from this seller.

Trees took a while to get here. Planted immediately in 10 gallon pots and they seem to be doing okay. Price seemed a little high for what you get, and they were a tad dry when they got here. Probably 8 or 9 inches tall. Turned a little brown but most trees do until they get settled in their new habitat. We’ll see how the next several months go and potentially buy more.

I was quite hesitant to buy this and have it shipped all the way across country. I’ve got to say it arrived in perfect condition and it was probably twice the size that I thought it would be, which was a very good thing and it’s very healthy. I’ll definitely purchase something else from this vendor. They were very reliable.

Ordered the Coast Redwood Small Tree Seedling in May 2021. It came wrapped in a small tube as advertised. 2.5 years later it has grown into a 4' sapling (see images). It is on the verge of outgrowing the 10 gallon pot it lives in. Watching it grow has been delightful. It seems to sprout new growth every week that starts off as light green little tufts at the end of its branches and at the top. The bark has started to harden and turn a deep red shade. Absolutely recommend!
