She has described herself as a "gangsta Nancy Sinatra" and cites Britney Spears, Thomas Newman and Bruce Springsteen as her musical influences. Lana Del Rey's direct influences were visual as well as musical; David Lynch, soundtracks for '50s black and white movies, the whirring sound of the Ferris at Coney Island, fame itself. She lived in a New Jersey trailer park and decked her homestead in flags, streamers and seasonally inappropriate Christmas lights. Like these things she loves, the album sparkles with color and vitality. Includes the hit singles 'Video Games' and 'Blue Jeans'. Great pressing
I went back and forth on whether I should order this because reviews of the deluxe vinyl seem pretty split on Discogs. I listened to this in full and honestly, the sound quality is PERFECT and there is no distortion in Video Games (which some copies of the deluxe version apparently have). Definitely order this, it's a good copy!

Bad press.
Songs are very noisy and little distorted on all 4 sides close to the inner groove.. kind of disappointing considering I only bought for the deluxe songs - the last song sounds aweful
