Edit: August 2023 - I still love this thing, but it started to short out a few months ago, I have to hold my thumb on the end piece sometimes, but it’s honestly not that big of a deal bc I can grab the whole thing with my hand which is kinda hot. Still, it’s better than all the rest and even when it does break I will buy a new one. I’ve wasted a ton of money on rechargeable or battery powered vibes. I’m a long time vibe user for almost 20yrs and I have no idea why I never bought this sooner. I guess I was originally turned off by the cord and wanted waterproof—but I rarely ever use one in the tub or shower so I decided to give it a try. And look, I can orgasm fairly easily, back to back. But this thing takes orgasms to another LEVEL. Seriously not kidding. Don’t rush it, try some edging….you won’t regret this purchase at all. Stop reading reviews and just buy it!

Turns itself off after 1-2 minutes and then won't turn on again for a while. Basically broken after 1 1/2 months. I think this company is going downhill. I'll be looking for recommendations for a reliable replacement.

Definitely does its job , has very soft head , has 4 different vibrations, but if not used to it let me say start on the first level and work your way up because it is a very good vibrator I made it to 3 just trying out the different vibrations and let me tell you it had me before the 4th level and even though most people are more sensitive than others, let’s just say it was under 2 minutes for me when it’s usually around 5 minutes, I can definitely say if you are looking for a good and fun toy this is it ! I used to sell these kind of products just different brands and let me tell you this bypasses them , and have to say I recommend the magic wand , although it might be a little bulky and has a little weight to it but not enough that your arm or hand gets tired because you definitely will not have to hold it that long if it works for you the way it did me , however it is a little longer than others that I have tried which helps me because my arms are shorter and the longer body on it helps me reach the spots that are a little harder for me to reach with shorter wands , but overall I have to say this is definitely worth more than a 5 star rating , so if you are looking for a good vibrator or are looking to a fun little gadget to add to your romantic evening or just for yourself then this is definitely it and well worth the price! 🤯🔥🕯️

The newer model has 4 speeds instead of just 2 speeds, and it is quieter on all 4 speeds. Also love that it is still corded, not having to worry about charging.

I bought this one because the original magic wand we have seems like it's on its way out after 5+ years of faithful service. Like you, my girlfriend and I used the original wand with the potentiometer box (that's what it actually is called) to get the fluid variable speed control. BTW, anyone who tells you that using one of these will cause damage to the wand is a liar. But... THIS IS IMPORTANT: You cannot use the potentiometer box with the Plus Wand! I tried it. It does not work. The Plus wand contains digital circuitry whereas the original is purely analog, so the Plus cannot be "hacked" in the same manner. She and I have tried both wands head-to-head (so to speak). I use it with the hummingbird attachment - which is the best thing ever to be created by human hands. She uses it straight up as-is - because she's a madwoman. In both cases, USE PLENTY OF LUBE (I can't believe I have to actually say that, but the evidence indicates that I do). At first, we weren't sure if this was really an upgrade because we were looking at going from essentially infinite speed settings to just 4. But after all was said and done, neither of us cared one bit. Sure, you only have 4 speed settings and no pattern settings, which feels like stepping back in time in an age where every little $10 bullet includes 372 settings in the damn thing. But it doesn't matter because they are the 4 *best* settings. I don't know how they figured it out, but those 4 settings work perfectly to bring you through the relevant stages leading up to an unstoppable... conclusion. Neither of us could actually even last to the 4th setting. I still can't. So you see, it's hard to complain. But I'll try to complain anyway. The one downside is that while the build quality seems sturdy enough and it certainly has a bit of heft to it, it also makes an unpleasant rattling noise when held at certain angles. Obviously, the generic advice "then don't hold it like that" applies. But it happens at more than one angle, so it becomes difficult to avoid. It's bad enough that the gf gave me permission to pop it open and go to work on it with a jar of rubber cement until that problem is solved. Wish me luck!

To put it into perspective, I have the original magic wand which plugs straight into the wall with no power adapter necessary, and I also have the battery powered magic wand. This hv-265 model, which seems to be similar to the battery powered unit, is the worst of all 3 by FAR. It has worked fully 1 time, where it was powered on for roughly 10 minutes. Every time after that, it has only stayed on for about 3 seconds before shutting off automatically. USELESS. I've tried googling how to fix it, but to no avail. It's also non-returnable (which does make sense given the nature of the item), which leaves me with a useless $80 paperweight since it literally can't perform it's one job.

all i’ve had before is one tiny vibrator from target, and it did get the job done but it would take a while and the “release” wasn’t very intense. I also didn’t love the rechargeable design of my old one because sometimes i would want to use it but it was running low or dead and unless you live alone or with a partner you can’t really have a vibe just sitting around charging. i wanted one that i would just have to plug into the wall and be done with it, and wanted to up the intensity by a lot. these are iconic and probably the most well known and popular vibrators so i wanted to give it a shot and oh boy did it deliver. the cord can detach from the body with a button press for easy storage and you can leave the cord plugged in cause most people won’t know what it’s for. i had it on the highest intensity and lasted 30 seconds which is the fastest it’s ever been, and was left shaking and moaning after. 10/10 no notes this thing is a gift from god for real.

Feels like a quality product. Nice and large, works well. However - doesn't really work for me as a massager. I've tried other massages and much prefer the 'kneading' feeling of others, compared to the vibrating sensation from the Magic Wand. And the friction of the vibrating head against the skin makes my skin itch, which is rather unpleasant.

No esta feliz. El original es mucho mas fuerte. El nivel mas alto es el primer nivel del original. No lo compren por ser un model mas nuevo.

Item stopped working after a few months of use. Frustrating

Bueno esta magic wand que en teoria es la original funciona muy bien, la vibracion mas potente es increible, muy facil de usar y ademas comodo, me pregunto si habra forma de poner un cabezal mas comodo de acuerdo al area donde se usa. Tambien lo use para darme masajes en la espalda por una contractura que tuve y me ayudo. Lo unico que creo que es importante mencionar, es que te resta sensibilidad con el paso del tiempo, es decir, después de usarlo un par de semanas, ya no logro nada con las vibraciones de los primeros niveles, y mis otros juguetes se quedan cortos a lado de este.
