A no nonsense high quality product from Dell which does the job exactly as described. It has soft touch keys and extra keys for volume. Misses a number lock light but that would be to save battery. Has a decent range and worked for me accurate within. "3-4 meters. In line of sight of the USB dongle. For best results use dongle on front USB if possible or get an extension USB cable so that it can be made visible and in line of sight for quality signal and performance. I use it with a Linux computer and works absolutely fine including the media buttons mapping

Keyboard build quality is amazing and its a great product for long run. In other hand Mouse build Quality is some how average and If you are a heavy User like me then mouse single AA battery only last for 2 weeks and in moderation uses mouse battery works roughly for a month. I used it for years working good. I lost Bluetooth usb and searched everywhere could not find the usb . I threw keyboard and mouse . After that I found my Bluetooth 😉. No use of usb now. They could add more ways to access keyboard mouse then to usb Bluetooth if they will provide inbuilt Bluetooth to keyboard mouse it will be very good.

After lots of research online, I ordered this model.. Reviews that i read made the decision making very difficult as everyone had a complaint about no LED for CAPS lock, NUM lock. Finally i came to conclude that it is not wise to expect that one wireless keyboard that is powered only by batteries. And then it was easy to finalize this model based on price and number of buys. From my initial experience, its all fine. This is my second wireless set. The first one from logitech failed . In fact the keyboard failed. It could be my fault though not sure and I came to understand that once a keyboard fails there is nothing to do other than throw it away. This one said its spill resistant. This is a big one and is heavy compared to the previous one and normal wired ones. This could be because its slightly bigger and is spill resistant. The best part is that mouse has an ON/OFF button. One issue I noticed is some sort of wireless interference with my desktop wireless PCI card. It does not happen always, but at times. And when i disable and enable the wireless card, it becomes ok. During times of interference I see missing keystrokes, very very slow response and such things. This is why I am giving just three stars,. I am yet to research on this issue, I think I may be able to fix this by altering the wireless signal frequency inside the house.

The Dell Wireless Keyboard Mouse Combo KM113 arrived within just a few days of when I ordered it. Both items were undamaged and in perfect working condition. I bought the set because my old, wired Dell keyboard was wearing out. I am very happy with the understated design of both items and the smooth, effortless way they function. The set-up is utterly simply, and both items worked immediately. As other reviewers have stated, there is no light for the capital letter or number locks. This is the only negative comment I have to make. Overall, I feel that I received very high value for the price of the set.

UPDATE: Just logged in to update my review. Appears that I purchased the keyboard/mouse exactly a year back. The left click on the mouse finally died two days ago. The scroll wheel is also acting funny since a month or so. You try to scroll down and it scrolls up first and then latches on!! So I decided to check if the product is still under warranty and get a replacement for my mouse. Claiming Warranty a) As mentioned below, claiming warranty on the product is next to IMPOSSIBLE since there is just no way you can register this product on the DELL website. It'll keep asking you for a 7-digit code in order for you to proceed. Here's the catch. There is NONE mentioned on THIS product. I tried all the codes that I could see printed on the rear of the mouse/keyboard but nothing works. Bottomline: No registration = No warranty. b) I thought of locating the product directly under the product section but the search box turns up nothing when you enter KM113. The product is probably obsolete and is being offloaded here on Amazon. c) The website itself is a landmine full of unrelated javascripts to track your surfing. I am a developer so I would know. d) Am still struggling to email Support as I write this review. The form that pops up on the website expects you to mention the Order Number (a mandatory field). And no marks for guessing that the Amazon Order Number isn't accepted in the form. So once again there is no way of going ahead with submission of the support request. What a bunch of nonsense. How is a customer supposed to contact support then?? Earlier Review: Keyboard ok. Works as expected. Does not have any LED to indicate Caps Lock, Num Lock or Scroll Lock status. Can't imagine why DELL would choose to skip it. Mouse has started malfunctioning within three months. The left click no longer works properly. Struggled to register the product on the DELL India website so as to check and avail warranty but the site would not let me register. I am currently using the mouse by reversing the button functions. (Edit - Aug 09 2016: The power button on the moues is malfunctioning. Even when the mouse is 'on', which is visible from the red light below, the cursor does not move. Have to shift the slide switch in its notch a bit for it make the right connection before the cursor comes back to life). Also, mouse uses battery fairly fast. Here's a comparison. The Keyboard was bought in the last week of October 2015. It is still running on its original battery but the mouse has had its battery replaced 5-6 times already. There is no low battery indication. You have to guess that the battery is due for a change when the mouse pointer starts acting all weird.

The keyboard and mouse were of excellent quality. Very comfortable to use too. However, please be very careful of the mini dongle. If you lose or damage one, like it happened to me within a week of purchase, even the Dell Customer Support would not be able to help. They had a standard reply that this keyboard & mouse are paired with the mini dongle so you would not be able to use/pair it with any other dongle. Even if you are ready to pay extra for the dongle, they just don't have an option to purchase one. Wish they had mentioned this as a special note in the product description, as this would have greatly impacted by buying decision. Now I have a brand new keyboard and mouse lying on the shelf as I have misplaced the dongle. Really sad!

Keyboard is very comfortable for typing. Has separate keys for numbers. Has separate keys for music pause, resume, etc., calculator, browser, mail, search and volume up and down. Mouse is also fine in all the aspects. It has turn on/off button which is useful in preventing the battery from draining when mouse is not used. I have found out a few cons There is no turn on/off button for keyboard There is no indicator on the keyboard to know whether it's switched on or not Delivery time didn't meet my expectations. They took 4 days. Overall it's a good product.
