Customer Service Disasters

This cd is so hilarious. These are real people trying to call real companys. When this cd was made UPS was going on strike. However there's no way they would ever have hired someone like Willie or Jim Bob, let alone make Jim Bob the supervisor. The guy is a genious getting into character with each transfer especially when he plays the normal guy trying to help the customer. "Jive Hussy" was so mean and so funny. I completely lauph so hard every time Willie tells the woman calling the bank to look on her calendar. Even though I know these characters are made up I still envision Willie mouthing off on the job. He is so rude. I guarentee that when you hear this you'll laugh so hard you'll hurt your stomache (not too much though, it's a good hurt).

I am a huge fan of the touchtone terrorist and this is by far the best cd out! It is hilarious and never gets old. You can listen to it over and over again. No matter what profession you are in, this is hilarious. A guy with a voice changer takes 800 calls that people have misdialed. (People tracking packages for example) and lets them believe they are talking to customer service reps from the company they are trying to reach. Then he gives them a hard time, with one of the many personalities he has created. Like Junkyard Willie. Really great for a laugh.

I used to think these guys were hilarious, until I figured out that the whole thing is scripted. It's not impromtu, unscripted phone calls like they try to make it appear. They people calling them are actually one or two actors. They just modulate their voices to make it seem like they're a bunch of different people. It was very entertaining until I learned that though. Junkyard willie is a hoot, lol.

Junkyard Willie, Jim Bob and the gang provide the ultimate listening joy for anyone who has had to be civil to the public on the phone. The fact that the callers think they are sane individuals make the calls that much more hilarious. These customer service reps gone wacko reveal human nature fully exposed in the most raw and hysterical audio form you are likely to find on CD. Look for a few puppet reinactments on Comedy Central's instant classic TV show, "Crank Yankers."

It's the same joke every time. Some people are pretty funny, but if you're expecting the random wacky brilliance of the Jerky Boys, it's not here!

Anyone who gives these cd's with Junkyard Willie anything less than 5 stars is missing their sense of humor. Maybe they can get a job writing for the hit sitcom Friends or something. These are absolutely hysterical. Real or staged they are great. I kind of doubt they are staged though- the acting on the part of the irrate customers is a little too real. Brilliant!!...

This is the funniest of a bunch of funny albums. This one is more confrontational and I laugh very hard when listening to the callers get ticked off. You will too.
