Suntown 22" Octagon Functional Gable Vent with Screen - 2 Piece Construction - White

I want to say one word "Awesome" After installing, it looked like it belonged there. Quality is Superb!

It will work mounted over the existing siding or under new siding, The hidden screen keeps insects from entering home and provides excellent ventilation.

Bought several of these as we didn't want to reuse the old ones when we changed our siding. Happy with product.

They worked out great! I would buy them again.

This vent was easy to install. I like that it comes in 2 separate sections so you can take it down and clean. The piece that mounts to the wall doesn’t lay flat in all places. I filled these areas with caulk. Overall a good product.

The two piece design gives a lot of flexibility for installations. The flange part can be cut to fit the opening and screwed to the frame any way needed. The outer piece is easy to put on with a simple put on and twist slightly. The final install looks great.

Purchased 2 of these Gable vents for an outdoor project. They were easy to install ad look good. Keep in mind the back will be inside the structure, the front on the outside, so that means the thickness of the board between the front and back can be no thicker than 5/8”. I also recommend adding silicone or caulk to prevent rain water from leaking into the inside and rotting the wood.

I absolutely love this 22 inch octagonal vent. The vent area is absolutely maximized, a circle rather than a rectangle for the most possible venting. The plastic feels very heavy. I love it . I have reached out to the company in hopes of getting another one because I need to have two, and Amazon doesn’t have any more. Unfortunately that means I may have to return it. I hope they restock it.

Well constructed and easy to install

Great product! Fast shipping and very well built!

Item is well made, but when I received the vent, It was marked on the box that the vent could not be painted, and paintable models were available. I didn't notice anything about unpaintabilty in the description, or that if iI wanted to paint it, I had to order a different model Why have 2 versions? Since I bought this unit specifically to paint, and I had no time to get another one, I decided to rough up the surface and paint it anyway. Time will tell how long it will last. Beware if you want to paint your vent to match your trim

Worked so well bought 2 more for my mothers home

Nice big vent for good air circulation. The screen keeps bugs out. I added metal 1/4 inch hardware cloth to stop access by bats. Had to put one screw in the cover to be sure it didn’t blow off in a strong wind. Otherwise great.
