The drill bit was perfect

It looks the part, but it's not very sharp. I'm beginning to doubt this is a genuine Bosch product. I had to use slightly smaller drills to take out most of the wood, and then use this 12mm drill to finish the job and achieve the hole size I wanted. Very disappointed.

Great replacements for the ones I broke.

Only drilled 10 holes in hardwook worktops but I was happy with the quality. It drilled pretty accurate holes.

Requires a drill stand, and the central guide point at the drill tip was fractionally off-centre. Therefore not perfect, but did the job

This bit has a pronounced bend toward the tip. Initially I thought it was okay, but once it's in it wobbles the workpiece and loosens your clamps, makes the hole at least 13mm dia and puts a lot of strain on the drill, especially if you use a pillar drill. Also, it doesn't have the usual Bosch markings on the bit (although the packaging looks authentic) so I guess Bosch are just reselling these (clearly without the proper quality checks). Still, it gives your grip a good workout.

I bought this for a DIY project and highly delighted, it was a low price for a top brand
