Meter is cheap, sturdy, and reliable. The strip insertion point is a little tight, but once you get used to it, it takes no time to test. While others pay +$100 for their meters, have to change every 6 months because they are discontinued, and a bottle of 50 extra strips from the pharmacy can run $60-$80, Embrace is reliable and inexpensive.

This is my 2nd m now I can have one with me at all times and I can leave one at work in case I forget mine at home it's accurate and the prices of the strips are the best in the market .

When I found out my co-pay was going to be $50 for test strips, I went looking. This was the perfect answer. Tests within 5 points of my Ultra, so I'm switching over. Actually takes a very small blood sample for testing. No complaints - wish it was a bit smaller, but I'll make room for it at this price!

The Blood sugar meter and strips did not work out for me , this unit did not read my blood sugar correctly, I had checked with my other testing meters when I got suspicions about in correct reading. I had purchased this since the testing strips are well priced, but did NOT work out for me, DO not buy this . I am using now Contour-Next Bayer Blood Glucose meter now.
