Scripts & Strategies in Hypnotherapy with Children

I refer to this book each time I am creating a new hypnosis script for a child I work with in Psychotherapy. This book not only has pieces for scripts, it has the background info to help the Hypnotist to be aware of the age of the child and their ability to relate to the hypnosis process. The set up of the book is well thought out, and it is easy to find what you need for the next session. I bought this book on Kindle and I LOVE that! I can pull up my Kindle Ap on my laptop and I can copy and print straight from it, so the end script for my use is easily readable and pieces of the script can be placed right where I want them. If you work with children and do hypnosis, check out this book!

This book is a technical and philosophical treatise on hypnosis that is easy to read. It gives wonderful insight into the hypnotic process.

This is a great book of scripts and techniques/ideas to write one's own scripts.

Her book is packed full of crucial information about working with children of all ages and she offers a treasure trove of practical advice on how to structure a session, pitfalls to avoid, and solutions to common problems. Not only is this book easy to read, free from jargon and packed full of imaginative scripts, it also fills a much needed gap in our knowledge of children's hypnosis.

When working with children - a must have!

It does what it says on the tin, ideally to be used by practitioners,it covers bed wetting, anxiety, loads of confidence scripts which are brilliant exercises, the book is just easy to read, good and engaging. (if you are a parent you could use this book if you google a bit about writing hypnotherapy scripts so you could understand how to bulk out some of the suggestions so they are specific for your own children;) I've used about 9 of the areas so far with hypnotherapy clients and they are always easy to use and tailor to individual preferences. really good - I personally rate this book 5* as it's easy, useful and fun. Perfect!
