magical deck that has made me so happy
Fantastic deck. I was worried at first because this deck is an amalgamation of preexisting artwork that was edited into a tarot deck. Turns out that this fact does not detract from the deck at all. In fact, it gives it a magically separate quality that I find very inspiring. I love the card explanations and detail contained in the little white guidebook. It comes in a standard thin, cardboard box. Card stock quality is medium in thickness - the quality is good, they are glossy and beautiful. I've seen thicker cards but these are definitely not too thin. Guidebook - is written in several languages. Each language gets about 20 small pages. Card explanation/meanings are a few sentences long but are very detailed and descriptive. I find that it is all that I need. I have other books that go into a deeper discussion of each card but I have found that what this guidebook gives is just enough and really works for this deck. Very interesting and surprisingly deep. I'm not a stickler for packaging and I am completely satisfied with the packaging as it is, but it occurs to me that this beautiful deck, with the beautifully worded descriptions would have made a great deluxe edition in a more substantial box with a larger, decorated and expanded guidebook. I think the publishers should consider this. The author of the guidebook could bring a talented hand to the project. I am so happy that I purchased this magical little deck. I'm interested in the Nicoletta Ceccoli Oracle cards that are being published this fall. I hope the publisher sees my review and thinks about deluxe editions that would make their already wonderful products so much more special. This is a fun deck that can be used at all levels as it calls for a highly intuitive experience.

A beautiful addition to my collection.
These are beautiful cards. I immediately connected with them. I purchased them to do childhood shadow work and they delivered. I highly reccommend. The quality is good for a mass produced item and I love the artwork.

Everything That I Had Hoped
I have wanted this deck for quite a while and am very satisfied with my purchase. I've been learning to read tarot using tarot apps on my tablet for the past year and I wanted this to be one of my first physical decks, the other being Rider Waite. I think the images used for this deck fit well with the meanings of the Rider Waite cards, but they do have their own very unique and interesting twists and turns. Some cards are unsettling (most, actually), so I definitely don't recommend this deck to anyone who is sensitive to such things. As far as someone using this as their first deck, you should be fine since there is a small booklet included that tells what each of the cards means. The descriptions are short and sweet. It does not including instructions for how to do tarot spreads, but you can easily find those online, as well as longer card descriptions, should you need/want them. During my first attempt using them, I didn't really like the spread I had chosen and also wanted to word my question better, so I tried again. I shuffled the cards quite a bit and pulled 3 that were sticking out next to each other in the deck. The cards ended up being 0, 1 and 2. I was delighted because they were the only three sticking out of the deck in any significant way. I then did readings for others which all turned out well. The answers received did not spare feelings and were very accurate, but they weren't negative for the sake of being negative. The readings felt very honest and neutral. The cards are all very much eye candy. Even though some of the images are unsettling, the deck has a wonderful feel to it energetically. The backs of the cards have a lovely holly plant design. The box features 4 of the pictures from the deck. It's absolutely gorgeous in every way and I would highly recommend this deck.

A Tarot Deck That Calls You Out โ But Softly
I absolutely love this tarot deck. The quality of the card stock is wonderful. The artwork is breathtaking and adds so much depth to each reading. One of my favorite things about this deck is how even the traditionally difficult cards have comforting or moving details. I donโt mind pulling the Eight of Swords as much anymore because thereโs a sweet little bunny being cuddled for emotional support โ such a tender touch. And the Five of Cups is so emotionally charged for me that I almost want to be the girl tenderly held by the bird. I love it so much, even though itโs not usually the card you hope to see for yourself. This deck makes every draw feel meaningful, beautiful, and deeply human. I love this deck so much, even when it calls me out. 10/10 recommend.

Outstanding!
) Ah, I do not even know what to say, honestly. I got this deck about a week ago, and I have become addicted to it. I am crazy about Tarot cards, indeed. For me, Tarot is a Love that will never end, and lately, I have bumped into two decks that I have felt goosebumps about, one of them is the Ceccoli Deck (the other one is the Bruegel Tarot). When I saw them, I simply felt they were Must Have Decks for me. The Bruegel Deck came first, and it blew me away, then... :) A week later, this simply awesome Ceccoli Deck arrived. I do not want to persuade anyone, and I do not know who this Artist is, but I have the feeling her Art was not originally planned for Tarot cards. Yet they are unbelievable! If you want to see the possible outcome of things, present, past or future events, this deck is brilliant in 'investigations', but simply awesome in exploring the psychological background of relationships, motivations, feelings, fears, characters, I have no words for it, indeed. I have not and will not read the LWB, because these cards work for intuitive readings. I have tried them in a special way, as well, to describe characters - with one card for each person -, and so far, for me, this is the deck that has given the clearest descriptions. These cards speak for themselves. You just have to follow your intuition when you look at the cards. Yes, the imagery is weird, sometimes even scary - but these images are in us, and I am convinced that the resonances of these cards also work in the subconscious so as to help us let our fears and dark thoughts go - this Artist knows something about the human psyche, indeed! And the artwork is simply beautiful! :) So thank you, Nicoletta and Lo Scarabeo, you have made me very happy, and I do hope others will also explore the wonders of this deck, as well as Tarot cards in general. Thank you so much!

What to say about this deck.... I was really nervous buying it because I love the artist and I love the art movement (low brow/pop surrealism). I graduated with an art history degree and I think some things happening in that movement are really interesting - even if the movement as a whole is looked down upon by some of the more academically minded. You're probably wondering why I was worried if I was familiar with the style already. It was two things. The first was the publisher of the tarot deck - they usually produce an inferior quality card. I can say honestly that this doesn't apply to this deck. The images are vibrant, the card stock is heavy, and there's a decorative border not a blue band with multi language labels... yay. The second concern was that, being familiar with this art movement and some trends in tarot art, I knew this deck wouldn't have many, if any, male figures in it. I was right about that (one male figure if you don't count the monkey). Since I knew this would be the case I didn't have much of a problem when the deck came in... but if I hadn't been expecting it I would've been disappointed so keep it in mind. I took the plunge and bought the deck for two reasons, first I was interested to have a tarot deck depicted in one of my favorite contemporary art styles. Second, I was having a block tapping into new levels of one or two cards and needed a "meditation deck" with unique images that could get me thinking about these cards in a unique way. What a success on both ends. The images are gorgeous so collect if you're a collector; and the interpretations are unique (a little heavy, it's actually hard to work with these when I'm feeling psychologically raw) and powerful. As for reading with these bad boys - only try this if you are feeling capable of handling some emotion. Not a beginner deck - cards deviate greatly from traditional imagery so you have to know your stuff to get the full meaning our of them. Rated four not five because of the lack of men and the difficulty of reading with them.

Perfectly Beautiful, Beautifully Perfect
These are, hands down, my favorite tarot cards. The artwork is just amazing. I fell in love with the art upon seeing the limited images that are part of the product description, however I was completely blown away one they arrived and I was able to go through them one by one. The cards are very sturdy, & I predict they will age/wear very nicely. Both maintaining their sturdiness & the clearness of the imagery, but also showing signs of wear/age as theyโre used over time. Because theyโre not plastic, but are coated. My new favorite tarot deck.

My favorite of all
I am in love with this Ceccoli Tarot Deck. The illustrations are absolutely gorgeous, strange, and intriguing. I'm not all that knowledgeable about Tarot, but I'm learning. I do simple spreads and enjoy it. It's relaxing and really does provide insight and helps get my thoughts and feelings centered when I'm all over the place. This particular deck is stunning.

This deck is so beautiful and for a beginner like myself who interprets tarot a bit differently, it really is a wonderful deck. The imagery is sometimes a bit out there, but I always read cards differently than what is 'default' anyway. The artwork gives me a whimsical sort of feeling when I do a reading, and I love how smooth the cards feel. I really love the symmetrical backs of the cards, as my first (and only other deck) has an asymmetrical back so I could tell if the card was upright or reversed. This deck is very easy to read if you enjoy interpreting the cards yourself first without much knowledge of what each card means specifically. The booklet might not be too in-depth for people who are in need of a booklet, but I actually really love how simple it is. It doesn't have any of the reversed meanings, which is the only downfall, but there are multiple languages which might be why (for size). I usually use a website to help me with the meanings of cards, so I don't really have an issue with the booklet. I love the 'key words' bit at the end of each card, except for the page/knight/queen/king, since the booklet treats them like a person (ex. 'this person is a leader, etc.') I love the box it comes in as I am able to carry it with me in my knapsack. The cards are good quality, although the way that I shuffle them (spread out on a flat surface and I move them around with both hands in a bit of a mess), some cards have little knicks on them that I can only notice if I hold the card up to light and very close to my eye. I don't have a problem right now with that, since that makes me feel more connected with the deck. I find this deck a lot easier to connect with as a very intuitive beginner tarot reader, since I found with my previous deck, I would always interpret the cards completely differently than what is generally considered the 'default' meaning. With this deck, it helps me to find the answer to my question in a way that I am able to interpret in my own way, personally, so I really like that. And again, the artwork is just gorgeous. Maybe some of the artwork assigned to the cards are a bit of a stretch in terms of the general symbolism of the cards, but I have no problem with finding the main point of each card. Some of the cards & artwork really really fit well, too! Almost spot on. I am so happy I got this deck, as I find it makes me want to do readings more often than my other deck. Even just for the artwork alone, this deck would be great for anyone as long as they don't mind looking online for in-depth meanings of cards. Anyone who has issues with interpreting the deck should just stick to more generic decks that have the default symbolism, as the deck is easy enough to read if you aren't stuck on the 'exact' meanings of tarot cards.
