As long as your “T” is the correct thread pitch for the sensor it will work as a trans temp sensor.

Absolutely, I have one in my Mini Cooper that has no stock water temp gauge. Very easy to install and fits any where.

Q: Can you wire this directly to an original coolant sensor made for a gauge instead of an LED meter?

May not be accurate that way as the output voltage from the stock sender may be different.

Q: Temp warning adjustable?

Not on this slim gauge, but it is dead accurate compared to the OBD2 stream info.
