The Kentucky Fried Movie [Blu-ray]

Some of the humor may not land with some people. Some of it is raunchy (but still funny). I hadn't seen it in many years. So glad I got it. And remember, you must have total consentwation!

Great Spoofs and Skits, years before Saturday Night Live!

Dated, but still funny enough to enjoy. I liked the parody of "Enter the Dragon."

I love this whole movie, but, the reason I got the BluRay is to have "A Fist Full Of Yen".

Zucker Abraham Zucker If you're a fan of absolute crazy and a little smut, this movie is for you. Reminiscent of Amazon Women on the Moon.

This movie could not be made today. In the age of ultra-sensitivity, micro-aggression, and political correctness, it's almost impossible to do anything that's funny. There will always be some special interest group using the media to silence comedians, filmmakers, or anyone else who dares to defy them. The Kentucky Fried Movie stands as a shinning beacon to all of those out there who believe in good raunchy comedy and the 1st Amendment.

The earliest of the Zucker Brothers movies. It has sparks of the future laugh out loud hilarity of the Airplane! Top Secret! And Naked Gun! Movies. I had to search for this, it's hard to find. Sure the effects are cheap. This was the 1970s and they were operating at a tiny budget. But the writing is there, funny as always.

This Blu-Ray is an amazing remaster of one of the funniest, most politically-incorrect movies ever made. The picture quality is unbelievable, and the humour is as warped as ever!If you enjoyed Airplane!, Top Secret! And Police Squad!, you need to get this, as it was Zucker, Abrams and Zucker’s first film. If you thought what they did in the big time was wild, this was made before they learned the rules!

Best worst movie ever!!

If you're looking for politically correct comedy, do NOT purchase this. It's as crass and rude as I remember it as a child.

Den Film fand ich Anfang der 90er Jahre sensationell gut und für Freunde von Monthy Python ist das ein Volltreffer. Heute begeistert mich immer noch der Kurzfilm "Für eine Faust voll Yen", aber manche andere Sketche sind unschön gealtert. Man muss vielleicht dabei gewesen sein, um wenigstens mit nostalgischer Nachsicht den Film gut zu finden, mir hat er auf jeden Fall immer noch gut gefallen.
