I purchased this in lieu of a more expensive leatherman and for the most part I'm happy with it. My favorite part of this tool is the easy access tools. Most other tools require fingernails or similar to get the tools out, but these pull out much easier. However this is accomplished by having a wider body, which makes the tool bulkier. This combined with the larger than normal opening angle of the pliers makes it awkward to hold, in my opinion. It's also larger than my leatherman suspension (and original leatherman) which I dislike, but the easy tool access is a really great piece that keeps my review overall positive. I would still recommend this tool given the features and price point, but would caution that people with normal sized hands or smaller may experience issues keeping control of the tool while using the pliers.And one small note for the company, because I thought it was petty. The limited time offer for the extended warranty was kind of a joke. It clearly states that it must be activated within 24 hours, which I admit I totally missed, but what's the difference between 30 days and 24 hours when you're talking about a 25 year warranty. I didn't get around to registering it until today and noticed that I missed out. Not a big deal because I think the tool will last, but it just seemed petty to limit the offer to 24 hours after day of delivery; either provide sufficient time, or just get rid of it.

I've used Gerber, Leatherman, and a bunch of cheap ones too. I realized once you become dependant on these tools a cheap one will just hurt, literally.The Gerber one ($60) with their slide out style pliers wasn't the best for me.The Leatherman ($80) was the one brand that sold me on these tools until the pliers broke into at the joint.All the cheap $10 - $20 all fell apart at the pliers end. They also rounded off every tool inside when used as a tool.I have had these multitools collapse on my fingers because of a lack of a lockable tool set on the handles.This one though has blown my mind. Just the pliers alone grip as well as any other pliers of that size. The rounded edges cushion the handles from cutting into your hands. The whole thing feels well made. It feels like a $100 item. The screw drivers grip the screws and hasn't bent or rounded off even a little. The lockable tools with the nice push button release lever is easy to push and locks easily.The flashlight seems like a extremely well made so far. It's extremely bright and the focus is like a mini spot light. Very happy indeed.The belt carrying case is very thick and feels like a premium item.All in all I'm blown away with this purchase.

I was sceptical on this buy due to the price. But I agree with the other reviews-good item. Not wobbly or loose. Easy acces to tools, which are functional in real use... and the lock for the tools is that of much higher priced items. The wire cutters can be replaced once worn down. The whole thing is secured with star head screws NOT RIVITS- as the cheapos seem to usually be. Flashlight was OK, a good back up and kinda bright, but not my go to when I have the option available. Wonderful gift idea. Comes in a really nice box set, very impressed with the packaging .... I will be ordering another one, or two for a gift and maybe an addition to my get home kit in the car.Overall 5 stars, will buy again.Update: I have ordered and received a second one for my car get home kit. These are very durable. Well built and sturdy. Now I wont be using this everyday, constant use and abuse. But I do trust them in a pinch or emergency situation.

Wow is all I can say. This thing is a tank! It’s heavy. Sturdy. Well made. Quality . And a fraction of the cost of leather man and other tools. I may give these out as Christmas presents this year. Outdoorsman you need one for back pack, truck, and any place you may need a multi tool. Very very impressed! I’mOrdering the one w siscors now! Best find on Amazon ever.
