I like everything about this mask except for a very strong chemical smell. My wife thinks it smells like gasoline and it definitely smells like a solvent. I hand washed it with dish soap in the sink which helped a little. I then hung it outside on the porch so it wouldn't get UV exposure. It has been there about a week and the smell is now very faint. I think it will entirely dissipate. Air it before you use it,

I was a little apprehensive about buying this mask due to the low cost and the reviews regarding a chemical smell from the Chinese factory. I received the mask yesterday and I was very impressed. The mask seems to be well-constructed, the leaves are firmly attached, and there was no significant smell. I'm really happy I ordered this item. The Green Woodland color looks realistic and versitile.Update: I was muzzleloader hunting in southern Minnesota in October 2021. I fired at a whitetail doe only 25 yards away from me while wearing this mask. The primer didn't ignite the main powder charge. I froze. The doe flinched, but she stayed and looked carefully at me before she trotted off. The doe came back 45 minutes later after I reloaded, and that time the main charge ignited. I suspect that she would not have returned if she knew I was a human being. This mask really breaks-up the human profile and hides your face. This is a must-have in my hunting kit.

I like this mask way better than the ones with the 2 elastic bands with the bendable nose piece. It has a single adjustable band on the back, I put the band under my ears so it sits where I want it and also has see through netting sewn in the top, I don't use the netting but I'll probably just cut some eye holes out soon. On 65° and above days this mask gets pretty warm even though its mesh, this is the only thing I'll have on my head when its 38° and up and my head stays comfortable. I suggest letting it sit out a week or two or wash it multiple times before use because of the strong chemical smell.

Combined with my ghillie suit with hood this worked extremely well out in the field. Used it in Pre-Rut and now during the rut. Several times when I was out in the woods with my buddy he would struggle to spot me when I was 40 yards away from him scouting out the woods before I picked my tree to climb. The veil is kinda hard to see clearly out of anything more than 15 yards but to be perfectly honest you don’t even really need it. If you’re looking for concealment just pull it up closer to your eyes. The pull strap in the back of it makes it easy to adjust and stay perfectly in place on the average sized head. I could also see this fitting good on kid or a “big head”

Every hunter needs to have this!!! Works well for concealment and especially for bug deterrent!!! If you don’t pugs in your face while waiting for wild game. Then you need to buy this product. Also has an adjustable cored in the back so it could sit snug. Fits easy in pant pocket or water bag. One thing..... it does have a smell to it out of the package. So soak and air dry with dawn or detergent a few times.

This style is the best. You want a full head net, not just a face mask because they don't stay in position and the elastic tweaks on your ears. This style has draw strings which work great, and 3D leafy camo really helps you blend in. I cut off the silly net that covers your eyes though. Hint: If you're hunting for turkey in the spring, insects rule, so what I do is use a mosquito head net over the camo head net.

1 day shipping Great. It is very light weight. Don't forget the draw string in back. Very breathable and the mess that covers your eyes is quit see through would be easy to see a gun site. If not wanted easily tucks up aside your head and can be pulled down when needed. Will use spring turkey and nice weather fall hunting. AND you can't beat the price. I gave it a 3 for warmth but it wasn't made for that.
