DMC Color Chart Book for Diamond Painting : The Complete Table: 2019 DMC Color Card

This is a fabulous resource. I wanted to do a diamond painting from a photo I took. I had a chart made from a XS website, but I didn’t have all of the suggested drills, so this book helped me choose colors that will work.

I consider this book a must-have for any diamond painter! I'd also consider purchasing a roll of the 1cm wide double sided adhesive from that Chinese Site (the same adhesive that is on DP's) Use that to cover the column where you can place sample drills. The chart is clear, concise, and the printing pretty accurately re-creates the colors. With sample drills in place it really is a perfect reference for identifying unmarked drills, as well as finding alternatives to a color you may have not received enough of. Sometimes it even helps when receiving dye lots that don't really match the color they are marked as. Most of the time those will match another DMC code perfectly, so you can just put those in with the ones that they match with better. I bought this in 2019 shortly after release, and it's been an invaluable tool since. My recommendation would definitely be to add in the AB drills, or even make a second chart for all of the crystal drills available today.

I just got it in yesterday Dec. the the 7th 2020.....and couldn't be happier, I have a ton of random drills from diamond paintings I've done that have no numbers at all, and now I can define them! thank the goddess! I don't understand all the bad reviews! why do people always have to bring each other down! just jealous I guess, the pages are clear, the colors are spot on, and yes, it's a soft cover, not a hard back, and not pricy at all, I only paid $17...and it was well worth it, so quit your complaining!! unless of course y'all want to do all this work yourselves, and publish a posh hardcover with INCLUDED accompanying color coded drills for a very cheap price. yea, I thought naught.

My very first DP came with the DMC codes printed on the bags so I assumed that was the standard. However, its clearly not! The next 2 I got off amazon were just numbered for the canvas so once I was done I had no way to label the extra drills. I really didn’t want to pay the high price for this product but after looking online for others (mostly print yourself from Etsy) I felt I couldn’t trust my printer to calibrate correctly and caved for this one. The number of charts are great and it tells you which one to use for which scenario. I now have all my drills organized by DMC code except 2 because I couldn’t decide which shade they were. A great resource if you are really into DP. I gave it 4 stars because it's overpriced.

I absolutely love this book! I was lucky enough to putchase it when it was $13.00. It has all the colors and numbers you need to keep track of your inventory. What would make this look better is if you want to double the price, put more charts in it! There are only two charts in this book. For $13 that is a great price. For $26, it is totally not fair and unacceptable! If you want to raise the price to $26 put in four or six charts to make it worthwhile. I am very disappointed with this company for raising the price and I have told my friends not to buy it until the price goes down.

This Diamond Color Card is great for a quick reference. Since there are different die lots within each company, I do recommend using these charts to DMC each diamond color yourself. Each page is printed very vibrantly, and has a spot for the user to place a sample of each diamond color. This book binding is very tight, which makes it very difficult for the book to close nicely after a sample of the diamond has been placed. If planning on using this to place a sample of the diamond color, you may have to cut out each page in the book and place it in a sheet protector inside a binder. This book comes with many different formats of the diamond layout, which makes it easy for the user to reference in multiple different ways.

Product is great as far as matching numbers to the color. However, in both the Da Vinci and Van Gogh charts some color names dont seem to match the color. For example, 154 is red -vy rd. I'm assuming that means very dark red. To me the color looks purple. I also have colors with numbers that are not even listed in the entire book. Those numbers are 129(which looks to be a bright white with hints of yellow with Aurora Borealis mixed in) and 130 (which looks like yellow and also with some Aurora Borealis mixed in). I suggest going by the Da Vinci chart as the numbers are listed in numerical order. The Van Gogh chart looks to be arranged by color so the numbers are not in numerical order. The Warhol chart is the same as Da Vinci while the Picasso is the same as Van Gogh and both of those do not have the color names next to them. I may upgrade my star rating once I have matched all beads to the appropriate color/number.

Well, I Found Out (To My Shame) I NEED to go Back to Pre-School! I Always Thought Black Was Black. I Can Count on One Hand "ALL I KNOW" about Color (AND I DO INTERIOR PAINTING-PART TIME)! I DID Know That The Color Red Comes In Variety of Hues, But This Book Is "EXTREMELY" Informative. It Comes With 4 Paint Charts. "Da Vinci", "Warhol", "Van Gogh" and "Picasso" Charts. It Has a Place Next To The Color To "Glue" Several Drills Next to Each Color. I Find THIS to be "INVALUEABLE"! See For Yourself! It's an Eye Opener To the Vast Array Of "COLOR"!!!

This is a great book for anyone doing Diamond Paintings as it covers most of the possible colours available and has a column for a dot of each colour to go beside the number

Absolutely fantastic, very clear to read and you can stick the gems on the right colour. I've been looking for something like this for ages. I'm so glad I got it. I fully recommend that you get this for your diamond painting, then you will be able to understand the different colours and numbers. Delivered in quite time thank you.

I like that it gives colours for the DMC colours as well as for the WARHOL, VAN GOGH and PICASSO in order to maybe get a match to the non DMC colors.
