You may have visited many restaurants like the Olive Garden, Outback Steakhouse, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, T.G.I. Fridays, Saltgrass Steakhouse, but you may not live near them. This book does a really good job of recreating those recipes that you have tried in these restaurants. This book contains many recipes from your favorite places.What I really like about this book is that I can make the boiled shrimp and salsa appetizer from the Saltgrass Steakhouse, a lettuce wedge from the Outback Steakhouse, then have some pasta from the Olive Garden, and finish it with the T.G.I. Friday’s Vanilla Bean Cheesecake (which tastes better than the restaurant). You couldn’t get this from one place.While no one can promise the dish tastes exactly like the restaurant, because so many restaurants don’t even cook their food where it is being served, you can make food that tastes very close. I like being able to swap an ingredient or two to make it my own. I can reduce fat, sugar, or make small changes and make the dish just like the way I want.The recipes are clearly written and easy to understand. I love the at what I need to make the recipes are found in my grocery store. I give this book an A+ in copy cat recipes.Natalie S

The greatest find in this book is how to make Vanilla extract. Anyone can replicate these recipes by following the instructions in this book.Several of these recipes are just in time for the holidays.

I read it like a novel. Great memories.
A sweet reminder of my youth and young married life. More recipes than not were things I've forgotten and it was a thrill to be reminded. Food memories are strong in our memories even if something like this book has to nudge them to the forefront.

Wonderful--Everyone needs a copy!
I was so excited to get a copy of many of the recipes we so enjoy in the restaurant. I have already tried some and plan to make even more. I also shared them with my daughter so she can prepare some of them for the grand-kids. Everyone needs a copy of at least one of the books.

Perfect cookbook
I really like this book has a lot of great recipes you know you go to a place to eat and you fall in love with something on the menu. well this book has a lot of great copykat recipes from some great places. I recommend this great cookbook.
