I purchased this system to replace the Arlo Pro 2 system that I have. Arlo is great but I've had wifi issues in my house which made the Arlo cameras ineffective. Not to mention I wanted continuous recording and did not want to pay Arlo for continuous recording. This system is great. 4K cameras and the interface is fine. Took a bit to install but its well worth the effort. However, the app is horrendous. I knew this going into the purchase so I was not surprised. The only reason I couldn't give this system 5 stars is because of the app.

Before I set up the camera I tried to install all 4 cameras and NVR to make sure they are working including the power adaptor one by one. after installing everything place it on my cabinet everything was working except setting up online. I need a longer cat5 for internet. but still won't connect or cant view in your phone. I downloaded both lorex home and lorex cloud apps not a easy install or the apps not working. I install this camera abroad to watch it from my home in VA. good thing I have back up ring cameras and it work 24/7. no I dont recommend this NVR camera..

You cannot use existing Lorex wiring for each camera. If you do, features don't work at all. Picture quality suffers too. Also, it has to have a direct hardwire to your router in order to function. If the router is in a different room than the recorder, you're out of luck.

The description was incorrect by saying it was 2 way audio, other than that, very happy with the product.

Love the idea but hate the fact that they all have to be in the same general area to be hooked into the hard drive box. We had to drill holes in our house to do so. Took us about 2 full days just to get two cameras up and had to go buy extra pieces To run cords from out WiFi to the box across the house to have it hooked to our phone

We are pleased with our cameras. Great picture and easy to install. Not difficult to program or set up on your personal phone..

Works well, and the issue i did have(setupp error on my part) was handled well by tech support. Was worried based on some reviews, but my tech was competent and pleasant For an upgrade over existing co-ax I would purchase again.
