8oz SoW Potion Flask

Bought this flask to enjoy a discreet beverage recently at a Renaissance Fair attended with some old friends who played Everquest back in the day. They certainly got a kick out of it when I whipped out the SoW flask. Good for a laugh/trip down memory lane. Idea is great. As to the product itself--it's a pretty basic stainless steel flask. I followed the instructions about washing with water and soap and letting it dry before use. Filled with bourbon and less than 24 hours later, the bourbon had turned greenish black color. From a brief bit of research online, this is fairly typical behavior for flasks so I'm not going to ding the product too much for that, but I do hesitate about using it again, at least for bourbon. Might be relegated to the display shelf.

I played Everquest for many many years. It's still my all time favorite game. I was a Druid as my main. So finding a SOW Flask was an amazing find. This flask is great quality. I put it on display in my glass display cabinet. I'm a very satisfied customer.

So pretty! Great gift for everquest gamers.

Overall, I like it. The only negative is it fingerprints easily.
