I'm glad this exists
There are a few things I really like about this gutar, and a few things that I hope they will improve in the next iteration.PROS:The thing is light, small, and sounds pretty darn good plugged in. Unplugged and unaided, it's still a pretty cool practice guitar that you can hear just loudly enough in a quit space that you can get into it. It feels pretty solid given its light weight, and you can tell it's made really well. I am able to play it pretty comfortably sitting with it on my lap (once I got used to its shape), and a strap works well too (though not where they tell you to hook the straps. I put the second strap screw partway up the neck instead of right next to the one behind the bridge as is suggested) The pickup is not great, but it's passable.CONSThe lap fit is a bit weird for me. Setting the cutaway on my right leg puts the guitar too far to the right, but if I scoot the guitar to the left and rest it between. My legs, it actually sits pretty well with decent balance. The stethoscope headset for accouustic play is really uncomfortable on me. It may not be on all people, but I'll never be able to use it. I'm going to try to find something less painful, but in truth the accoustic sound through the torture device is not much fuller than without it. The other thing I think they should fix in the the next version is the output jack placement. It buts right up next to the wire that carries the signal from the body to the lap extension, nada è its hard to get your quarter inch cable in jack. Ok, lastly, I'm still struggling (after an hour...) with an awkward right hand. I keep finding myself muting the string with it, so I need to figure out a way to compensate for the slight difference in infrastructure down there. All in all, I think it's a solid product and I recommend it. I was just rocking out on it and enjoying myself a bunch. The fact that I can easily take this with me on some long term voyaging I have coming up is a real comfort. With an ipad or a laptop, or even just a jack amp, this thing is a dream come true. I'm going five stars even given its few shortcomings. I'm sure a future product will take it even further, but for now, I'm very pleased this exists.

AWESOME travel size guitar, versatile and well made!
As a beginner guitarist practice is everything, and this guitar allows access to practice just about anywhere! I take a 45 minute lunch break and I would eat, walk across the street to get coffee and practice outside with the stethophones in playing in the fall breeze. As winter came on I hesitantly went inside and started practicing there, I was worried about the noise bothering others but no one paid any attention at all (great for a beginner like me!). The sound in the stethophones is really great, I found it to be very pleasant like an acoustic but not boomy and not tinny, just right. It is compact as heck! I haven't taken it on an airline yet but I don't see any problems when that time comes. The build quality is top notch, I wouldn't change a thing about the wood and metal used for assembly. The leg-rest attaches securely and feels very nice (I thought about adding a little strip of grippy rubber for my work slacks but never did, it's fine with jeans). The tuners are nice and easily adjusted in the body. The fretboard is nicely finished and feels great, strap attachment is nicely done as well. I am fairly new to the electric guitar scene and still figuring out tones and amps and whatnot so take this last bit with a grain of salt... I had trouble getting a full sound out of the single coil on this guitar, whether using just the single, or blending it and the piezo pickup I haven't gotten it dialed in yet (I have head a number of street performers using these that have no problem getting good tone with the stock pickups so I just need to find the right combo for this one, I'm used to a dual humbucker Les Paul). I have heard people complain about the "balance" of these and honestly I don't understand where they're coming from, it's a SUPER compact guitar it's bound to sit a little different than what you're used to, just get a strap with a little grip on your shoulder and it's fine. Like I said, if there is any negative to these little things it's that it may take a bit to dial in your tone. I STRONGLY recommend these to anyone in need of a travel guitar, and I would LOVE to try out and review their acoustics one day!

Bof

This is not a toy
I have had this guitar for about a week now, and these are my early thoughts (full disclosure, I have only been playing for about 3 years). The good: It may look like a bit of a toy, but this is a very well made piece of gear. The components are high quality and it is well put together. It feels nice to play, and the action and intonation are very good. It is a little tricky to tune...fiddly really, but the good thing is that I have barely had to touch the tuning in a week. The not so good: The sounds it produces are rather thin, but given that it has almost no mass, you really would have to expect that. An eq of some kind, or effect peddle is an easy fix. It is a very light guitar, and it has a tendency to jiggle around a bit. An experienced player probably would not worry about this too much, but as a beginner, I find it a distraction. Using a strap, even when sitting helps a lot. My only really negative comment is that it is made in China. I really had the impression from the advertising and manufacturer's blurb that it was made in the US. Not that being made in China makes it junk...far from it. China has some of the most modern facilities in the world, and if they make the product using quality components, and to the company's specs, then you will get a fine instrument. Nonetheless, it was a disappointment to see the rather dominant 'Made in China' stamp on the back.

pro indeed.
not really a toy: just an instrument on the road. folds perfect and unfolds fast (after the first time :) )
