If you’re looking for gruesome language, Arthur Rimbaud is your sicko. He influenced the rock poets of the 1960s such as Jim Morrison and others I can’t name. Very harsh and borderline disgusting imagery that somehow keeps you reading. If you need Arthur Rimbaud, this pocket edition is ideal.

This book arrived nicely packaged and in wonderful condition with a sweet thank you card inside!

The deep dark undertones one could feel, the blood red, deep, dark chocolate then a sensational splash of bright yellow, green grass, a pale moon, a solitary songbird singing the sweetest song (and no one was listening) the passion and fervor, the melodious yet sometimes sardonic, caustic and sarcastic, Limbaud was very descriptive of his fellow human beings that accompanied him on his journey, on the other hand every so often he emitted a tone so tenderly romantic, the sweetness and sensitivity of this young man's soul has to be read to be appreciated. A truly brilliant young Frenchman. I was honored to read through his thoughts and delighted in reading his prose.

Nice little compilation of Rimbaud's work. He was a genius in my opinion. Can't hardly go wrong with the 'Everyman's Library' series. Small book but great content.

nearly all arthur rimbaud's poems in one small volume. attractive and easy to carry around with you too. good value

I get the point of these being pocket editions, but I didn't expect it to be so small.Not sure why you'd want Rimbaud with you at all times, unless you want to keep that fire burning.Brilliant stuff, Rimbaud, but I'm going to return this and get a bigger edition.

Considering the surprisingly small size of this book, the text is legible and well presented for sufficient Rimbaud masterpieces. Great.

it arrived with a small tear in the jacket, which is really of no consequence to me. for anyone who might care about that, it is a risk with buying hardcover books anyplace online.the book itself is in perfect, new condition, and is a well-rounded collection of Rimbaud.
