Good for a few laughs.
Next to Chucklevision, Basil Brush was my son's favourite CBBC show. This volume comes with the first 3 episodes plus a load of bonus content including bloopers, Basils Joke Book and more.

Hilarious at any age.
I am 18 years old and use to watch this show all the time on CBBC about 9-10 years ago. It doesn't matter whether you're 8 or 800, this show is hilarious. Brilliant comic acting by cheeky fox puppet Basil and the little known, wide- faced, unemployed entertainer Mr Stephen (played superbly by Christopher Pizzey). The BBC have stopped showing this little gem now, which is a great lost ( altough the series went downhill majorly when Stephen left.) A must buy for kids, kids at heart or just anyone with a good sense of humour. It can't fail to make you laugh.

Lights, Camera, BOOM BOOM
From 1963 to a few years ago, Basil Brush was brought back to life, who is glove puppet fox with his catchphrase "BOOM BOOM" and often likes to tell jokes and poke a bit of fun. Basil has moved into a flat with Stephen who is unemployed and everybody treats him as the idiot (since he does act like one), Dave is a young contractor who makes deals of businesses, Anil has a coffee house where it makes food feeling reluctant and cheap these people of poisons and Molly sensible character, trying to reason with the characters whenever they make a bad decision and can sometimes be very violent. This DVD comes with three episodes from the 1st season, 'The Date' where Stephen for once gets a date from heaven and Basil gets a date from Hell. 'Mouse' is the setting for a perfect war in the flat, one idiot, two children and a fox against a tiny little mouse, who will win? 'Fake Progress' is needed in Stephen's wake up as a Gypsy performs a curse to make all women around him fall in love with him, can anyone save him from this loverrific curse? All the Basil Brush episodes in this DVD will bound to bring laughter out of children with jokes and gags that will raise the smile on everyones faces. It's never ending the laughter that anyone with a sense of humour can laugh at.
