The part works great. The shipping was extremely slow. It was a couple weeks late, maybe three, and the little plastic piece was broken, but that doesn't interfere with the part working.

This starter was an extremely good buy, both by price and being a perfect fit.

The stater works perfect and is exactly the same of the original. The installation is little bit complicated but if have the tools and time to do, do it . I hope has the same durability. For now work nice.

Great price compared to other auto parts retailers and Hyundailike I said I should have listen to my nose. This part arrives smelling like a typical part from overseas. I had a burnt smell a lot of stuff from china smells like that. So in dire need of a new starter I sat about the installation process It will likely take a helper I thought. It did it was a tight squeeze getting it out and replaced. To my dismay when the key was turned it slowly began to crank but the starter was turning too slow to start the Sonata, Two batteries latter I had to again squeeze out the burnt smelling starter and send it back to Premier Gear PG as DOA although it was living on arrival it did not pass incoming quality testing. IT FAILED ! I don't know why a company would send this POS. to some body. This manufacture needs to check quality before sending out product! As it was sure a pain in the arm to remove and install on my vehicle. I will trust mu nose in the future. Oh this new part? had marks on the gear as it looked like it had been in contact with a flywheel in the past. Another reason I almost sent it back without installing. If this part was tested at the factory, perhaps the company should explain this negative REVIEW. I for one deserve an answer ! Thanks for the swift refund., I trust is coming.

The media could not be loaded.  Yeah, whoever is in charge of boxing this stuff needs to be fired idgaf, what a few people have said is true about the connector being broken. They threw the starter into a white cardboard box roughly 3-4 inches bigger than necessary without bubble wrap so the poor thing was thrown about its whole trip, luckily NOTHING else broke. Fix that issue for real this is not a toy or a cheap replacement however As long as that red bit is intact you are ok. i Have a Hyundai sonata GLS 2011 2.4l engine, everything now works well infact better than before. Took me all day. Make sure your line clamps and wires are plugged in properly before you freak out if you see you check engine light on. I had to use my foot to get a few bolts loose and accidentally unplugged the fuel line in the process. I’m 5’5” 120 pounds of just lean n muscle so anyone with more anything than me shouldnt have much of an issue with this. It was very fun to do though.

Only starter I could find to get next day. Works great but it doesn't sound sexy like the original.

Not sure if it was a premium starter or not however it fit right on with no problems
